What do *providers* do if the attraction isn't there?

So someone recently posted asking what one should do if you arrive at the provider and find for whatever reason you're not attracted to them (In some cases it's bait-n-switch, in other cases it's just that real life is not the same as the photo and the fantasy)

So I'm curious... what do *providers* do if the customer shows up and you just don't find him attractive?  I know, the money is what bridges the gap, but do you ever find yourself with someone you find SOOO unattractive that you just want to send him away

I've been with ones who kept their eyes closed the whole time.

Do you like every aspect of your job? Many keep the lights low, and burn candles. And they will tell you good hygiene is more important than looks.

Im the type that has to find something attractive about you. Its not just the roses for me. If its not there n theres no attraction I politely decline the date. Even offering a friend in replacement. Im not a robot I don't just shut off and do everyone and everything.

THAT was one of my first questions to my "mentor"...I was concerned I would not be able to fake an attraction that simply was NOT there. Her answer to me was that it was far more kind to just be honest that we were not a fit and give the gent his $ back and perhaps recommend a friend. This is much more honest and kind than taking someone's $ and forcing myself through the session. There's a lid for every pot and I have only had to do that twice in my entire career. And both times the gent was a great match for another friend.

This isn't common, but it's far less rare than you might think.  Especially in service businesses.

My dad owned a VW repair shop for 30 years and depending on customer needs (and not just if they were unpleasant!) he would send them to one of the other 2-3 VW shops in town.  He might do it if the customer needed repairs done on a timeframe he couldn't accommodate, or if the customer wanted to get used parts that he was no longer will to hassle or just didn't have in stock.  (You'd be *amazed* at how often people went for a used motor instead of a rebuild.)

Retail stores will usually just serve anyone, but when the business will involve an ongoing relationship, referring customer's away is definitely a thing.

Just call 5-10 photographers, tell them you want photos taken for your escorting business.  I'd be shocked if at least 1 was unwilling to take your money.  Heck, don't tell them it's for escorting work, just that you want some of the more risque shots we see on the photos board and at least a few won't be comfortable with your business.

Just because it's a business doesn't mean you can't say no.  :)

Worst case scenario the connection is not there....if that's the case then i just give it my all. But how someone physically looks  won't ever turn me off immidetly. One of my best lovers are average to below average by society standards. And some with model looks are just okay lovers.....all about the mind sex 😋😋

I would rather not go through with the appointment. In my opinion, it would create an awkward situation for all involved and I don't know anyone who wants that. When I first started my policy was to meet new friends for coffee or a meal first. While this was partially for extra screening, it was also to ensure that we were both comfortable with each other. I would much rather refer a client to someone else than to create a situation that's not enjoyable.

For once I agree with Fancy. Just shut your eyes and spread'em woman!! Your getting big bucks for this shit. If you can't do that, that makes you shallow.  Now for guys, we have it a bit different. We can't just get it up anytime we want.  When it comes to women, yes, I'm one of the shallow ones. Must be HOT! #justsayin

I say that it doesn't matter. And money only plays a part if I have to get over some 'stinky'.

But maybe if I am actually confronted with an ugly person, then I will change my tune. Who knows?

Maybe in my youthful teenage days did rock hard abs and muscular physique matter slightly. Once a client establishes my comfort ability verifying he is legit and safe, RESPECT is huge for me. I believe in mutual respect. I would never demand it if I myself couldn't reciprocate. When I meet a selfless, kind hearted client it trumps anything physical. I definitely would NEVER turn a client away because of their appearance. But what is unattractive to me is disrespect and cockiness. If a client walked in like he was God's gift to mankind and shows me any type of disrespectful behavior, I will and have turned them away.

Melissa, I can't get past the creep factor either! I can usually find at least one thing attractive about any man. Plus a great personality can make things better. But even if the guy is super hot, I CAN'T move past the couch/having a glass of wine stage if I feel that super creepy vibe you mentioned. Great post!
