Hi, I recently had a someone call me and say they would would exchange a "review" to see me.... hmmm. Not too sure about that. I mean, do there happen to be guys out here that would do such a thing as not review afterwards. When I first got in I was all about seeking reviews, reviews... I quit worrying about 'e. They will come, but now this is in my head. Any advice? Reply or pm me....

Thanks,
Ashley Stone

That's my understanding from posts I read. A local girl in my area did this and got banned (must've been a few months).

It's a big no no and the way I understand it is this. He is getting something from you in exchange for a review. This would mean the session could/would be tanted for a number of reasons.

I'm sure providers here will say the same thing plus give you more insight!!

Ashley, come to Memphis and we can take care of both of our lack of reviews!

People like your caller defeat the purpose of the review system. I mean with you knowing that a session  was for a "review" your performance probably would be different. I don't mean that in a negative way, but even subconsciously you would probably act differently.
I think that a provider not knowing if a hobbyist is going to give a review provides the most consistent view of how a provider conducts thier business.

I wouldn't ever sell myself that short.

Sometimes I've heard of escorts offering a small discount ($50?) for a review, and as it has been pointed out, that is unethical to say the least.

Why not just nicely ask your clients to write reviews for you?

Most clients will do it if asked, but you have to believe enough in yourself to ask.

Honest, it was not my idea.. I had a feeling it was wrong doing. He stopped e-mailing and texting when I asked if he thought that was taking advantage of his T.E.R. power... I guess he thought i was that hungry for a review and would fall for it...

Thanks, I knew he was wrong,
Ashley

Thanks Guys... Even though I would like to hear from the ladies as well. It seemed fishy to me to begin with. After saying no it was on-going things about he said about "your business will increase" and other things... I was like wow, nice but no thanks!!! I knew he using his tools wrong there. I looked him up and yes, he has reviewed but I still said no..

I the mean time I will stay safe....

Thanks Again

I applaud you for sticking to your guns. In the long run you will be much better off for it. As a newbie I would not recommend that you disclose the name of the lowlife that tried to extort you, but if the opportunity arises to let your fellow providers know, I would get the word out as discretely as possible.

Part of me wants to tell you to let everyone know exactly who this scumbag is, but in all honesty if he is well known it could backfire on you and ruin your reputation instead. Be patient, earn your reviews and remember it will be an actual public service if and when you decide to reveal the identity of this "wannabe bully".

I am a new hobbyist and think this is just plain rude.  The part I enjoy about the hobby is the anticipation then the meeting. Be it bad or good, just chalk it up to experience.  I would never expect to go to any service provider and say hey if i get this free you would get a great review.  I am approaching the hobby as I would anything else, research, research, research!!
