Question about provider screening.

I've noticed that most providers contact forms ask for work information AND two references from previous providers.

I was under the impression that once you have a couple of good references, you don't need to give up this personal information?

What has your guys' experience been?

It depends on the provider.  My two favs require both a reference and full real name as well as employment references.

It is what it is, the lady makes the rules.

For me 2 providers references or white list plus the TER user name is enough.
Personal info is very welcome, but not really important.
I respect most guys don't want give work number for discretion ..

If they have a form and you want to see them, fill it out.  Otherwise, do not be surprised to not get a response.  Even if you give up the requested info via e-mail or VM, many ladies will ignore your request to meet if you do not follow their directions.  Many ladies conduct further screening, and a reference only may be inadequate.  Personally, I usually send them am e-mail providing a description of myself (name, occupation, age, physical stats), as well as when, where, and how long I propose to meet.  I can count on one hand over a five year period the number of times I didn't hear back with a positive response...

Then again, it's been awhile since I contacted a lady for a first session that I had not already met previously at a M&G, or at least flirted with online.  Being able to say that in the e-mail always works... :)

References from other providers don't mean much to me. I need to know that a man is who he says he is - and I think that's safer legally. Also knowing who someone is affects the date positively - it helps rapport.
