Yes, provided you are discrete. For example, "To see you for 1 hr. in town X is the same as that posted on your web site--correct?" Don't come out with "Will it cost me $$$ for full service or is that just for a CBJ?"
when setting up a date, after i've been verified w/provider, is it ok to confirm the donation for 1 hr, (even if it's posted on her website, sometimes when they tour, it's a dif. price)via email question to provider prior to actual date. i would like both hobyest & provider point of view.

It is the providers' responsibility to keep their websites up to date. So far I have faced no discrepancies, but I'm always prepared to walk on a provider who meets me and then insists on rate higher than that on her website.
when I saw conflicting info. Something simple and discrete like, "Just to avoid embarrassment, is the donation I saw on your site, TER profile, Eros Ad, etc, correct and current.
I generally go to people who advertise on craigslist but also have TER reviews. I'll say that "I saw your ad on craigslist" The donations are clear there.
It's OK to confirm the donation but follow keystonekid's advice about how to phrase it.
A proivider's website should always be up to date but sometimes guys find us through obscure websites so the fees may not be up to date. It's best to confirm and save any problems when you actually meet.
