You mean they don't have an English speaking booker?  I don't know if that fully satisfies the definition of discreet.

I am looking to make this weekend my coming out party.   I have no idea how easy or difficult it will be to get an appointment.  I am planning on starting to make calls tomorrow.  I want to see if I can get it done without using p411 or anything like that.  I am willing to give out my work number if need be.  My plan is to use one of the K-girls with a handful of reviews that have a booker who handles multiple ladies.  I saw some of those lists on the K-girl of the year thread.  I figure they are probably pretty discrete since they handle so much business.  Anyway, just curious to hear from someone who just recently became a hobbyist.  Some of you veterans probably don't remember what it was like to be a newbie :-).

Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated.  I have done my homework, now it is time to take the test.

K girl bookers are notorious for not paying attention to ph#s they don't recognize and usually want say day appointments. I suggest you go back to the LA board and do a search concerning Kgirls. Use the TER subject search feature, or just go back 4 or pages on the LA board and read every thread. I'm not saying you won't get an date, just saying it's gonna be hard. You might be better off starting with a kgirl indie, yes they're out there. From there you can use her as a reference with bookers. Good luck! Make sure to write a review.

Thank you for this, I recently got into the same struggle :/

I don't know LA, but in NYC, the bookers / phone girls (and some have phone guys) do not speak recognizable English! That should be a hoot, getting a call at work from the phone girl!  "This dentist offerice. Call for Juan. Juan there?"

You mean they don't have an English speaking booker?  I don't know if that fully satisfies the definition of discreet.

My experience is East Coast only. Most AMP - KMP places have K-girls (or guys) handling the phones and it can be a real hoot trying to understand them even when you know what they're talking about. "Did you say four eighteen or four eighty [street address]? 4-1-8 or 4-8-0? 4-1 ... No, I said ONE. ONE!! THE NUMBER ONE! WHAT'S THE NUMBER ON THE DOOR????"

A couple of places have bookers whose English is both fluent and culturally adapted.  One place I know well has a booker who answers the Washington DC area code phones in Atlanta and has a strong southern drawl. Oh ... if your work has caller ID, make your Dentist's Office area code is in LA and not Las Vegas or Miami!

Ask the guys on LA boards for LOCAL advice. If you talk directly with a booker who speaks English and understands your concerns about discretion and sounds like she can pull off your preferred story ("Dentist ..." "Restaurant found your credit card." "This is Juan's bookie. Put me through or I'll bust your kneecaps, too.") then you should be OK.
