On this topic, I can't speak for other providers, but I can certainly speak for myself. I have a genuine preference for men who are, shall we say, generously proportioned, and I'm not just talking about your third limb :o)

Do providers screen for appearance? I imagine some do. I have seen a few provider ads that asked for pics, or indicated they were only interested in seeing "attractive" gentlemen. These ladies are not the norm however. Most providers haven't the slightest idea what you look like unti you are face to face. No promises though, that being overweight might dampen the enthusiasm of some ladies though, and I wouldn't doubt that some ladies may find themselves "busy" every time a large fellow asked to see her a second time. I don't think that sort of thing is the norm for most ladies either, but I don't doubt that it does happen.

The good news though, is that some of us either truly and honestly don't care about appearance, and some of us like myself find ourselves attracted to larger gentlemen anyways. So have no fear, there are definitely fish out there in the hobbying sea who will be delighted to see you when the door opens :o)

So.......ever travel to Missouri??

New to this whole thing and seriously considering jumping in.  But I am overweight and I was wondering how providers approach men in this situation.  Do they "screen" for this?  Do they avoid it altogether?  Do they simply act like it isn't an issue and make me feel like I'm A GQ model?

Any providers want to chime in, I would be grateful. Thanks!

I'm a pretty good size guy and though I am very aware of how much better the view is from my side of the bed even in my worst experience I never felt that weight was a factor.
Jump in, choose well, and she will make you feel like a king... a very tired, satisfied king...

I am vertically challenged as well...I always send a couple of pictures so I can avoid the "look".
So far it has not been a problem...just a BHG.  I have had nothing but great dates and they have made me feel like a King...albeit a big one.

I used to be huge (420 lbs).  My weight has rarely been a problem.  Obviously not every position and angle will work with every lady because of size and shape, but you can usually expect to leave satisfied.

I'm a pretty big guy myself(6' 3" 300 lbs.), and I thought my appearance would be a big issue. I have been with many dancers who didn't care though(maybe because they were getting money?), but I have seen a few whose heart wasn't in it. And then there are those who'll "work witcha" and provide the best experience you've ever had  Those are the ones I come back for. :)

I'm glad to see providers are no different. I'm new also, so I have a lot of worries flying about.

Some do not like to see gents that are overweight, for me however, I am more inclined to see you if you are a gentleman

I don't ask for much as long as you are discreet and not mean in nature

There is this one provider in our area who has caught alot of abuse on the Regional Board cause she advertizes on her website 'No men with over a 36" waistline" To each is own, just move on to the next.

Yeah, I bet I know who you're talking about.  She saw me even though my waistline is a 38.  She didn't ask my waist size, but she did ask if I was "obese".  When we met, she didn't whip out a tape measure or anything and she seemed satisfied that I'd answered honestly by saying "No" to her queery.  Fortunately for me, it was not the first time a provider had screened me in that manner.  It is rare, but I have to say the two providers who screened that way are the two hottest that I've seen.  The more I think about it, the less of a coincidence this seems.  I hope that doesn't start into a trend...

It's never been an issue for me with true GFE, well-reviewed ladies. You have to be honest with yourself, there are some positions that simply won't work with some ladies. Also, keep in mind that fat guys sweat...a lot. Shower often and pay attention to those hard to reach spots. Be prepared to take a shower upon arrival if it's been more than a few hours since your last one and definitely if the lady suggests it. Keep in mind that any popular provider is seeing a lot of overweight guys since the majority of us are-to some degree at least.

VERY rare if at all... if anything, they may only request woman on top position... and personally, I love that one anyway as you get to gaze into her eyes when she comes... ooooolala

Thanks!  I had posted something similar in the phoenix forum and it hasn't shown up yet.  Glad to see that there's a thread like this.  If any Phoenix-Area (Mesa) gals have a preference for that, give me a mail msg :-)
