Ok, so I love DATY but with all the STD’s out there I think I should use a dental dam. I’ve never used one, so I have a couple Q. does it “ruin” the experience, you know is a piece of plastic you’re sucking? Would the provider feel offended?

Personally I will just pass on the DATY altogether before licking a piece of saran wrap. Secondly, I don't think many providers would feel offended, there are some who insist on it.

There should never be any offense to safe fun... Don't ever forget that you are there to have fun not worry...or stress later on down the road..If she gets offended than she is not worth your time. It's called respect... Nice concern...

I can't believe you find such an attitude confusing. CBJ is for OUR protection. There is virtually NO risk to the woman during uncovered DATY. If a woman provides CBJ out of concern for her safety, that is her perogative, just as it is your perogative to either stick to covered DATY only, or forgoe DATY altogether if you are concerned about your own risk level. You choose YOUR level of acceptable risk, and she will choose HER level of acceptable risk. What is confusing about that??

By the way, hate to be the spoiler here, but the truth is, its almost impossible to even tell that you are even doing something down there if you use a dental dam. I've had a few men ask to use them now, and I did my best to enjoy it since the gent was clearly enjoying it, but the truth was, it was difficult at times to even tell what he was doing. It was enough to be very arousing, but actually orgasming from it was impossible. But I would never be the one to tell him no, or to be offended by his desire to be safe. I will however, be honest with him about the fact that there is zero chance I could actually orgasm with a dental dam.
