from a providers point of view i don't even see clients during that time but i am sure other providers may it don't hurt to be open and ask .. its not a awkward question especially if she is understanding make sure she knows what you want and don't want specially if you have seen her before.

My ATF loves it but does not work when she has it. However, we see each other off the clock on those days and simply do other things such as have a cup of tea and talk, and simply sit on the couch and cuddle. The first time she told me it was that time of the month and she was uncomfortable doing anything physical during that time. We know each other well enough and see each other often enough that we can sense the bedroom scene is not where we want to go during the time we spend together for that visit.  In the old days we called it quality time and there was a good reason for it. Last time around, I helped her review her citizenship questions and this weekend she told me she passed the exam with flying colors. We really celebrated. She's getting citizenship in about 2 months and we've reserved that evening for a special celebration.
