This is definitely something to remember. Some of the places that offer website services also provide a mobile version of your site. I think one of the more popular free sites for escorts, Wix, does not work with mobile. At least they haven't loaded up on my phone...
Hello,
I am new to industry and I just made a website it is a free one, does that make me seem cheap or lazy?
It is just to start out and I am thinking of waiting & creating one my self from scratch I do not have the time right now
In my opinion, starting out with a free website is OK. Downside is that there are probably misc. paid sponsor ad banners that you have no control over. However, you can still make it look quite professional. Put your resources and effort into developing (writing) your content to be concise and relevant to you. Upload as many good quality and variety of pics as you can. Make sure your contact information and screening requirements are clear. I've seen websites from several "VIP" ladies that are free - they have just put the effort into them to look as professional as paid sites.
(If you have PM - I can send you their links)
You should register your own domain name ("www._____.com") which you can "own" and then point to any new website later down the road.
Also, request the TER logo code from Admins and put it on your website; then you can link it to your weekly TER ads.
Good luck.

If you register a domain in your name and someone runs a "whois" search, you're busted. It is an extra 2 bucks a month, so don't overlook that detail or you may wind up with more attention than you want.
Guys just dont give a shit if your site is free or you paid a fucking million dollars. 90% of us dont even know a free one from a paid one. We want hot pics, great reviews, easy contact info and for you not to be BSC.
Believe it or not, its the women that are more concerned about websites being custom or free. There are providers with incredible sites that will make your head spin and make coffee for you but the girl's a dud. What good does that do anybody, right Arlotte?
Then there are incredible providers in this biz with huge followings with free sites. Some dont even have sites! They use P411 for the pics and put an email iaddy n an ad and still are very successful.
It comes down to this. There wont be a single trick that wont see you b/c they think you're cheap due to your website. Not one. They'll pass b/c your pics suck or your reviews are terrible.
I think what he/she meant to say is that "hobbyists" don't care about the caliber of your website or presentation...many men who only see high end gals, certainly do. Since you are on TER and should you decide these guys are your ONLY market, "not many" care.
Many women have been able to increase their rates and dismiss more idiots because of putting more money into their "brand." Now, someone who has no clue about marketing and the powers of it, would not really appreciate it for all it entails, but many guys have booked based ONLY on presentation. There are women with zero reviews anywhere, who can charge over a grand. If a guy is only looking for some hole to fill, not much at all will matter to him. Luckily, there are ways to avoid those types as well. Vocabulary alone, is a dead giveaway.
People spouting off about what every man under the sun will or will not do, are usually pretty deluded and projecting their feelings onto everyone else. To some, your website matters, but it is also a combination of other things to go with it. Again, I know women without a single review who have a professional website, quality pics, and don't even advertise...they are not the typical "hourly escort" who works every day or even every week, so I doubt their ads and reviews are dong the talking to the men that seek them, because they are nonexistent.
Claiming to be an "elite courtesan" and using a free site, is about as stupid as putting a Honda hood ornament on a Rolls Royce.

Guys dont give a shit about "hood ornaments". They want to know if the car looks good and whats under the hood. Never, repeat NEVER have I EVER heard a guy say he wouldnt see a great looking hooker with great reviews b/c they used a free site.
down to an art.....
My point remains. There isnt a single John thats gonna pass up a hooker that he would otherwise see b/c she happens to have her website on freehookersites.com. If you disagree with that, back to Hooker University for you. You can sit next to London Rayn and help each other. Just sayin'
You're the only one who needs the help, because "hookers" with actual degrees in real life, don't have to cater to guys like you. Thanks for showing the OP what she should WANT TO AVOID. Point made lol. Guys like YOU don't care about anything but a hole to fill, but to suggest that other men (not on TER) don't look at a variety of things, is asinine. I know guys who won't see a provider who can't spell, so chew on that. All you want is a warm, willing, dumb ass who is cheap.
No shit YOU don't care lol. You can't AFFORD to care. This is priceless. You need to take your bulllshit off the newbie board because ANYONE speaking in absolutes for what a million other people will or will not do, is a proven IDIOT. That's about as stupid as saying "Not ONE woman on earth would turn down 10 million dollars to fk," when there are several who would turn that down in a heart beat. The first sign of an amateur debater, is projection....congrats. Claim your prize on the GD.
You should also look into some reading comprehension, because it's lacking. In my very first post to her, I said "IF you decide that the guys on TER are who you want to market to, then a website is not really that important to THEM." Guess you missed that. If she however is a person like say Lauren Summerhill or China Rose (women who clearly do not use the review system to market themselves) then the guys they see will give a shit about all the other things. Even blogs have landed women serious cash who don't have a single review.
You are speaking in absolutes, and I am not...that is the difference. I can concede that the majority of guys on review boards (especially those who book by the damn hour) don't much care about all the bells and whistles, but you need to realize that you boys are not the only guys in this game, and you are also not the ones spending the most cash...sugar daddies are.

Again, you're projecting. You simply can't speak for what is in the mind of another guy who is NOT a career hobbyist. I think we both know the kind of guys I am talking about lol, but for PC's sake, we won't go there. You are very naive to think that the only men in this gig are on TER and think like the typical hourly, "bang for the buck" john...so that much, I agree with. Guys like that, really do not give a shit lol.
Keep in mind, not all women like to be referred to as "hookers" nor do those women cater to men who do. Marketing is a very powerful tool for those on the upper end of the game here, and I can assure you, it works for them. You can't possibly thing someone charging a grand can do so just because she has a golden p*ssy lol. Um no, it's called marketing.

You REALLY think there are guys out there, that LOVE a hookers pics, LOVE her reviews, but WONT dare book with her b/c he she is advertising on a free site? REALLY????????????????????????????????
Marketing IS a powerful tool but these FREE hooker websites over the last few years have GREATLY closed the gap to make them inconsequential in difference to paid websites and whether a guy BOOKS with the hooker or not. Her hotness and her rep are the OVERWHELMING factors. As someone else stated here, the website is the "window dressing."
If YOU want to spend all that dough, that is your biz. But to tell someone else to do it is ridiculous and a COMPLETE waste of their fucking hard earned money.
I am NOT telling this provider in question to spend the money. I am telling YOU to stop speaking for every guy who hires companions, because there have even been a few on this board who have said they won't see a provider who can't spell, where you could not care less as long as the pics are hot lol. Don't sit here and say that marketing does not work, because you're an idiot. I have seen COUNTLESS women start in this business at one rate and it tripled because of her PRESENTATION! Her vagina did not all of a sudden start shooting fireworks, so you tell me why guys paid more when there was no increase in the level of service, and ONLY an improvement in her PRESENTATION.
Duh....
After your little diatribe, I doubt you are a "guy" at all. You sound like a provider using a free site, who is pissed that others can afford to market themselves a different way. I know many gals with free sites, but they are also not the same gals spouting off about being "elite courtesans" lol. That is the point you keep missing, but you simply can't comprehend that not every guy/gal approaches this business with the same mentality. There have been guys who flat out said, "If a provider is too lazy to put time and effort into her business, it correlates with her service in many instances." Whether that is true or not, could not say but it has been said. If I meet a guy at the Holiday Inn after saying how "upscale" I am, you're deluded to think it would not matter to "some men." I can assure you, it would.

I won't see a provider who writes like an imbecile unless English is not her first language. Then I can overlook it.
Do you always argue by moving the goal posts? Since you lost the argument on whether it matters if the hookers site is free or not, you have now moved on to her "misspellings"? Your logic is so faulty. I never mentioned anything about grammar. My point was, and still is, good professional free sites versus paid sites. They dont make a damn bit of difference.
To make you look even more ridiculous, Panthera, not my biggest fan here, even took my side on this one. I can tell you are one of those hookers who can NEVER admit they are ever wrong, changes the subject, talks about bullshit, and uses 10 cent psychiatric words like "projection" to try and confuse the reader into thinking you know what you are talking about when you dont know Jack. Or in this case, "John.
You can't win an argument when you are speaking for what OTHER PEOPLE will do, and that is ALL you have done. Project, project, project. Yes, it sucks to be YOU lol. TO YOU it does not matter...to others (however few) it does matter. Get over it, and get a life already. You've managed to turn a polite thread from a new provider into your personal bullshit, just to use the word "hooker" a dozen times. Bravo. It's clear why you have to use an alias.
There is nothing "confusing" about using the word "projection" in correlation with your posts...any dumb ass with a dictionary can see that is ALL you have done from jump. You speak FOR OTHER PEOPLE and FORCE what you feel on them...wtf is that, if not projection? How about idiotic? You like that better lol. See, I did not do that. Not once did I speak for EVERY guy...I said very simply, that "some" people care more about things than others do, and your feeble brain can't fathom that not all johns think like you do. News flash...they don't. Browse on over to CCs, and see if your bullshit washes there. Many of them would not even give most us TER folks the time of day, because they feel we are beneath them and their "courtesan ways." That is the group of guys you can't speak for, but nice try.
-- Modified on 5/13/2013 12:20:58 PM
I simply replied to the OP with good advice from a guys perspective. It was YOU honey that hijacked this thread. YOU YOU YOU. Sucks to be YOU YOU YOU. Stop blaming others and look in the fucking mirror
Can you even do that much? You did not say "In my opinion" or "I think," but you did try and speak for EVERY guy, when you are full of shit. You and your ter board buddies are not what represents the majority of the high end clientele, so get a clue. I am done arguing with your stupidity. Change your alias yet again before 'you know who' figures it out bwahahhaa. Bye shit head. Could have given me a damn head's up!

Oh my goodness, that's the second time today I pissed my pants from laughing......."green bean" now "shit head"
The problems with the "free" sites are the security. As long as I have contact information outside of the website, I don't mind them. I do pay more attention to the photos and then TER reviews. Whether or not the site is free is irrelevant to me.
A nice website with a bunch of bells and whistles is not going to get me ringing the doorbell either. The website is so far down the totem pole that it almost doesn't matter.
I agree with you and ImOK on this.
Websites are far down my list of important tools. Back channel accomplishes much more than some "stolen" verbage many of the hookers use on their sites anyhow.
I'm there to fuck a gal...not as ImOk is saying. I like to know if the hooker I'm going to fuck can be interesting to spend time with as well. And honestly, I've been with hookers who have spent excessive sums to pretty up a site...whereas they should be taking community college classes (or at least get a GED) to learn how to communicate. While other gals who just use the basic site has her pertinent info for me to peruse.
No question some of these hookers have realized that many guys are lured to the light with glossy sites. But those same fellas cry about the mediocre looking middle aged hooker by back channel as well.
So not a whole lot different when the auto makers want to show their low end models in the best possible light...and their highest end models in that very same light. Yet at the end of the day it is word of mouth and reviews that tend to sell the cars. As well as price LOL
A nice website with a bunch of bells and whistles is not going to get me ringing the doorbell either. The website is so far down the totem pole that it almost doesn't matter.
We are not talking about ONLY the career board boys on TER, but men in general and they don't ALL think like you boys do here. Sorry, saying otherwise is naive and borderline crazy. I am not saying you're not buying the same thing nor that we are selling something different, but to suggest that there are not a few guys out there who don't care more about a hole to fill, is ludicrous.
So let's stick to the facts...and not rearrange them to fit your replies LOL
Here's a typical morphing of how "many" of the fellas use a website:
Newbie trolls ad malls
Newbie sees pics he likes
Newbie calls hooker
Newbie gets fucked over (and not in a good way)
Newbie finds TER
Newbie trolls ad malls
Newbie sees pics he likes
Newbie checks her review page
Newbie likes her reviews
Newbie looks at hookers web page
Newbie likes the pretty pics she has there
Newbie calls hooker...gives her the correct info and sets a date
Newbie writes review
Now those dudes at CC...kind of the same drill LOL Except more PM's and backchanneling.
I rarely pay much attention to what is written on their websites. I would rather just look at the pictures, lol.
If I get past the pictures, a few reviews is all that I need.
I have always found it terribly important to know that my hooker(s) of choice have been to at least 25 different countries, speak (fluently) 8 different languages....AND
Want world peace LOL
If I get past the pictures, a few reviews is all that I need.
But the "where in the world is Waldo" crap is OK?
Yea my thoughts about the sound effects, my site does not have any music, I figured any one checking out my site on a go would not appreciate an alarms going off while checking out my site.
Thanks, I can relax about my site a bit, I'm still going to create a great site and now I'm relieved have more time!
the site was free or you paid someone thousands of dollars to set it up.
Start with excellent photos from a good photog, and be sure what ever content you do add is thoroughly edited and proofed by someone who is good at that.
Pay attention to details such as making sure there is good contrast and that the type face is large enough to easily read.
And don't forget to tell us where you are located. You wouldn't believe how many gals forget that little detail.
Those are the basics of a good site.
If I encounter a web site that does not run on an iPad or iPhone, then I will not proceed. This is due to me not wishing to browse provider web sites on my home or work computers. Too much risk in that.
This is definitely something to remember. Some of the places that offer website services also provide a mobile version of your site. I think one of the more popular free sites for escorts, Wix, does not work with mobile. At least they haven't loaded up on my phone...
Yes, I shall remember this good point as well!
First Impressions....
1) don't put up a cheap looking free site and
2) don't rush through setting up a private one
London has offered you some very good points about the value of a quality web site. Mr. Fisher is an experienced hobbyists with lots of reviews under his belt, and his comments about the CONTENT of your site are spot on.
It is probably true that the average ordinary garden variety (redundant much?) hobbyist will not even NOTICE that your site is free-hosted. But there certainly are a lot of guys out there who will equate "quality of service" with "quality of the website". And yes - to those guys, a provider using a cut-and-paste free site IS cheap. On the other hand, it's also true that I have seen MANY private and "professional" sites that look like crap - too busy, poor architecture, hard to find pertinent information, lousy pix, etc.
So, in my opinion, if you are going with a free site as you are getting started (for time or money issues, or because you haven't yet decided how you ultimately want to market yourself) at LEAST make sure that the content is clear and the pictures are VERY good.
Good Luck.
