She may be unreliable as far as her commitments to her agency goes-this is not all that unusual.  That would not be something that shows up in her reviews since once she is actually at her in call and on the schedule she is not likely to miss any appointments.

I had an agency fav several years ago who was constantly mising flights and arriving late or leaving early if she wasn't busy enough.  None of this ever showed up in her glowing reviews since her customers were, for the most part, none the wiser.

I think it's bad form for the agency to slam one of their own providers. Providing a list of alternatives is not a bad idea but I wouldn't be making suggestions until the first gal was actually flaking...

So after alot of research (cheers TER) I was able to sort out the screening process and had touched base for potentially seeing a provider through an agency which was attached to numerous reviews.
One thing which has caught me by suprise (obviously after Ive been checked out) is getting an email from the agency saying the provider I was enquiring about is unreliable and provided me with a list of alternatives.

Now on the one hand its possible, but on the other any reviews I have read on here have made no mention of this at all. So thoughts suggestions on how to proceed would be appreciated

unless the lady is planning to leave the agency (or has left), and they are trying to keep you as a new client...

Trashing a woman who is on your site is a low class move.  Either book for her or don't.  If she is seeing clients and giving the agency their cut she deserves fair treatment.  If she's providing bad service then get rid of her...

true.  I was just guessing at why an agency would do that, but you are correct - if an agency is trashing its own girls, it begs the question how much they respect their own ladies...

Just as an update to this thread, I responded to the agency adamant that while I appreciated the list of other ladies the one I asked after was the only one I was interested in seeing.
Interestingly enough after a couple of emails back and forth whats come apparent is the difference between the two people at the agency end who have been responding.
The one who has been professional and polite and the second who has basically downplayed and trashed the lady in question.
