Well, you just explained yourself right there, hon.  Just relay that to the ladies you talk to, I'm sure they'd be understanding.  I personally would have no problem seeing a handicapped client as long as he is a polite gentleman.

I'm a healthy young-ish man who lost his hearing from a surfing accident in college. I'm able-bodied and the picture of perfect health, but I can't use a telephone. Almost all the lovely escorts I'd like to spend some time with seem to want to use the telephone at some point.

Is there a good way to phrase that I'd like to avoid using the phone? Would using exclusively text messages/e-mail work, or are there legal reasons to use the phone, etc?

Might just be a basic question of convenience, would like to hear thoughts about this.

Hi Joe, I can only speak for myself but I normally require a phone call to confirm an appt.
I have, on occasion, made an exception for gents who use hearing aids. I know it is difficult for them to use the phone. An email explaining why you can't use the phone would work for me.

I don't know the particulars of your situation, but I have a cousin who is deaf and we text alot. That works for me!
