RE: Asking about STDs

I have already checked your previous postings for questions I had regarding STDs.  It appears that the views range from almost 100% that I probably am not going to catch anything, to almost 100% that one will come away with genital herpes for sure, and that other STDs could/would be in store for anyone that stays with this hobby long enough. And the chances are that I could become infected as early as the first time I "meet with" a provider.  No consensus; fair enough.

But I still have a few questions:

1) Is it considered bad form to ask a provider about whether she has any STDs and/or if she ever gets tested, and if so, when was the last time?  If asking a provider is okay, then when is the best time to ask?  Before an appointment is made or face-to-face?

2) Knowing the providers like y'all do, what are my chances of getting a straight answer?

3) This is more of a nuanced question, but am I less likely to catch anything from a provider who is reviewed that does not engage in BBBJs and other "uncovered" activities?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am no expert, but logically speaking, all providers will say that they get tested regularly, whether if it's true or not. So far all the providers I visited claim that they get tested every 3 months.  I doubt it's all true.  I would think if a provider does everything covered, you will less likely catch anything from her.  This doesn't mean she is not already infected with anything....cus she might just recently started to cover up.  Your best bet is to assume ALL providers have some sort of STD, and act accordingly. This is my opinion...

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you are that nervous about this before even seeing a lady, you may want to re-consider engaging in the hobby!
