I've seen mixed comments on this all over the web. Some say that you should tip if you enjoyed yourself. Others say that you should only tip if the experience was out of the out-of-worldly sort. Do you guys tip providers? If so, what percentage of the total rate typically?

Do providers expect tips?

I made a thread just like this a few weeks ago and got no help with it.

I'm also curious to know if you tip based on how well you thought the appointment went or if you're supposed to tip no matter what and at what percentage.

individual choice based on your experience. I would say 10-15% is a good round number. Or you can tip a certain dollar amount. I've tipped, and I've not tipped. Don't know whether or not ladies expect it, some probably do, others probably don't.

Thanks John. Do you tip before or after? I'm assuming after, but what are the logistics for that? I mean the envelope is already collected by her at the beginning or at least placed in plain view, and I thought that you weren't supposed to just hand them cash.

the donation. The first time I saw one of my regulars, I saw her for 90 minutes and the fee was $275. I didn't have exact change so I made the donation $280. I'm not going to hand her cash at any time. As long as they get their posted fee, they're not going to complain.

The part about not directly handing the cash inhand is for the initial meeting. At the end, I think it is ok, as I have had them accept it that way. After all the game has ended.

Some hobbyists and ladies alike say the best tip is to book another appointment.

No one does.  However, I have always taken a gift.  At first, it was just a candle.  Then I found a 5 jar candle set for 10 bucks at WalMart.  After seeing many websites stating the girls like Victoria's Secret, I started buying $25 gift cards to go along with the candles.

To this day, I'm not sure which they like better, they seem to like both gifts.  Because I give gifts, I never tip.  As a side note, carrying a WalMart bag thru a hotel lobby, tends to give the impression I am a guest that had to go shopping,  thus giving me some camouflage as to why I'm really there.

If you want more info, do a search for Tips, or Tipping.  I'm sure you will find a whole lot of opinions on the subject, including the one I have just presented.

I don't expect tips. My fee is all-inclusive. If you choose to leave a tip, it is always appreciated, but I would never solicit one or think badly of a client who didn't.

I am always delighted when a gentleman enjoyed himself enough to want to show his appreciation. As far as I'm concerned, it's the thought that counts, not the tip itself. But it's not your thing then you certainly wouldn't stand out as "that cheap guy". In many service industries, tipping is the norm because employees receive a low hourly wage. That is not the case here.

Honestly, it's up to you. Ladies at the lower end of the spectrum might hassle you for tips, but upscale providers generally do not expect them. As a newbie, you should be very suspicious of ladies who expect tips or try to upsell.

I noticed someone posted about bringing gifts, what do you Ladies think of that? Is there something that would be suitable no matter the occasion or is there anything that would be tacky or taboo to bring?

I never expect gifts, but am tickled to death when I do receive them because it was so unexpected.  I do receive them from gentlemen with whom I've seen on more than a few occasions.  I also enjoy buying my own gifts.  So when someone wants to see me on more than one occasion, I feel great and treat myself to something nice.  Repeats are the best gifts.
