I've numbered them to make it easier:
1. Well, is it better to use an independent or a lady from an agency?
This depends on a lot. Both are great for different reasons.
An agency is typically easier to screen for because they do not usually require references. Also, once you screen, you will have access to a wider variety because there is more choice, obviously, than the single independent provider. Therefore, you will be able to see a succession of providers on one screening. Also, an agency will usually be good for short notice whereas an independent will typically need time to schedule (sometimes a week or two). A large number of independents started with agencies, so the quality can be the same; however, with the larger agencies, it can be hit or miss on the first cut.
On the other hand, Nothing beats a great Independent for making a connection, establishing a rapport, and usually knowing what you are going to get - particularly during subsequent sessions. You can make a wider variety of requests, and some of these ladies are good enough to reset your brain. Typically, they are lower volume and are at a price point to devote more time and energy to you in order to make the session more enjoyable.
Bottom line is that it may depend on your unique situation, which also may change over time.
2. If a provider is reviewed on the TER sight is that a sign that she is probably not LE?
If she has multiple reviews from established reviewers with multiple reviews to their credit, then she can be considered legit with the caveat that there are no guarantees that she isn't under surveillance when you go see her and you are just unlucky enough in your timing. The rub here is that if she has established a presence, sooner or later, it will come out if she is LE or working with them. So, as a Newbie, I would suggest that you stick with someone with 10 or more reviews from reviewers that have 10 or more reviews apiece.
3. If a provider can be contacted from email only and not phone is she more likely to be LE?
Probably not. Again, stick with well reviewed ladies.
4. How far should I go as far as disguising my name on email etc. because won't that hinder the screening process?
Do not give a fake name. If found out, you could be put onto a blacklist. Believe me, the ladies are more worried about LE than you, plus they are worried about psychos, stalkers, and other whack jobs. If you have a problem with the screening, then join a verification service. There are several out there.
