First off I want to mention how much I appreciate all of the input from experienced hobbyists and providers in the Newbie Forum - the advice that comes through is priceless, and has answered nearly all the questions I have had to a very satisfactory degree.

I have my first appointment! Needless to say I am very nervous, and very, very excited. I am definitely  ready to have my first adventure, and I really hope everything goes well!

But I have a couple questions that are still rattling around...

Q1: Man hair – Is it a concern at all? I know to be clean (duh – anyone who actually needs this advice should consider that he may very well be a complete a*****e), and I know that a close face shave is preferred. But, what about all this other stuff growing in all places but the one on top? Trim it down? Shave it off (ouch!)? Let it alone and don’t worry?

Q2: Confirmation. I have an appointment set and instructions to call when I arrive. The question is – it is a few days away:  Should I email a day ahead to confirm, even though she did not ask me to? (and yes she is well aware of my newbie status!). It just seems appropriate to do so, but I dont want to come off as pushy or anything.

...And any other advice will be greatly appreciated. The more I know, the less nervous I’ll be, and damn am I nervous!

Thanks!

Q1 - If you are talking about the groin, you can read a lot of posts where the ladies state they prefer to good trim and shave the "boys". Many say that you will get better treatment with kisses and licks and sucks down there if you don't fill their mouth with a brillo pad. BTW shaving down below is not "ouch", not unless you are really careless.

Q2 - Follow her instructions. She says to call when you arrive. Personally I would take her at her word at that, this is her business and this is how she wants to run it.

Just be yourself, joke around if that is your style (I do that a lot). Have fun, be safe.

Enjoy your first appointment!

I really wouldn't recommend shaving before your session unless you've done that before.  Some people are very sensitive and get razor burn, etc.  Just before meeting your lady is not the best time to find that out, you might want to wait for after to see how your body reacts and if it is something you  want to continue to do.  However, a close trim with a pair of clippers is always appreciated!

Sending an email the day before to confirm is always a good idea!  A simple, "Hi, looking forward to seeing you Saturday at 2pm!" should be sufficient and certainly not pushy.

Have fun!
