what does this mean, and where can I find them?

ok I finally figured out what this means, and what the issue around it is (though I probably don't know the FULL background/details)...........

i don't want to say or do the wrong thing, and i appreciate this site and recognize it's great value and worth, and i hope others do to..

i'm wondering though, as I'm learning more about this hobby, if CL is a good thing to be used in conjunction with TER?

Perhaps I should read more before I say or ask any more questions, but this is what is on my mind so far -

ok there are serious and experienced hobbyists, and then there are those who are maybe just dabbling, rookies.......  and just want to experiment and adventure...

I think that TER is a MUST for the serious hobbyist and also for the ladies who are career/goal oriented, but I think that sites like CL are probably good for those who are just in it for a limited time..


I don't know, but I'd like to read feedback about the differences between the serious and veteran folks, and those who are just temporary and limited..

i'm sure there are some pros and cons for each..

Ok, I've been doing a lot of reading/research today on the wonderful forums on this great site (thank you TER!).......


so what I gather is this -

the women who already have some REAL reviews are much more safe/reliable..

the women who don't have reviews, are a total crapshoot..

Ok so I get the whole review process, and it's value to us all.....


However, I take it that every girl has to have a starting point right?

Doesn't someone out there have to roll the dice and risk "taking one for the team", for a girl to start to establish a good rep?

Do all the girls out there value the reviews?  

I've heard that some girls actually don't want any reviews posted..


I guess the reason I'm asking these questions, to be honest here, is though I DO want to visit with the established ladies here on TER, I also enjoy the adventure aspect of the women listed on "CL" for example...

I think there are some ladies out there who don't want to make a long term thing out of escorting, and then there are others who may just want to do it for a very limited time...    those may make for some very very fun and exciting experiences..

ON THE OTHER HAND, I am very worried about the negative possibilities -  in particular the potential rip off where violence might ensue, and of course a sting by good ole LE.

I'm pretty street smart, so dealing with the rip offs is a little more up my alley, then detecting a sting.

Which leads me to this question -

How can you tell a sting on CL????

Seems to me like it's EXTREMELY easy for LE to place an ad on CL, and do stings, and if that isn't being done on a very frequent basis, I would wonder why?

Craig's List is a very popular website with about 100 catagories, the one you are looking for is "Erotic Services". Ads can be posted by providers and be posted in a matter of minutes, and stay up for seven days. The difference between CL and something like Eros or Cityvibe is that CL is free and basically unmonitored. Whether the ads are legitimate or not is a serious problem. Since it is free and unmonitored you will find all types of people, true legitimate providers - but alot of people you never want to meet.

First, yes every provider has to start somewhere, but for a $$ she can start on Eros or Cityvibe, not CL. Yes, some say they are in it for a limited time (most experienced providers have that same intent) and do not want any reviews posted, but in general their services will not even come close to comparing with a seasoned provider with great reviews, hence they go to a free website and quote half or less the going rate.
How can you tell if it is a sting, well I would be happy to discuss that over a cup of coffee someday - or PM me. I don't know about your area, but where I am stings are run on a very regular basis.
To really twist your mind, I am on CL regularly, but I am a true gambler. Sometimes you find a diamond in the rough, but they are few and far between.

Sure every lady has her first session.  Last October, I saw a very talented lady, had a fantastic time, and at the end of our time she apologized for being a bit nervous, as this her first time as a pro.  I was so shocked when I heard this, that on my way home, I called her agency to compliment them on their special find!!!

Some do, and others don’t.  For them it is free advertising, and an assessment of their skills.  However, the assessment is sometimes unfair, or even false!!!  Read some of the regional boards.  You’d be surprised of the wrath a lady who has had something unfairly said of her, in her eyes, in a review.

Sure, there are some ladies who by choice, or personal circumstance (be it marriage, going through a divorce, in a custody battle, etc.), who want to stay UTR (under the radar).  If you find a provider, or make contact with her through a private source, respect her privacy and don’t review her.

I know of many experienced hobbyist who share this drive.  I’m not sure if they see themselves as talent scouts, game hunters, or teachers of newbie providers.  What I do know is that when they do TOFFT (take one for the team), they have enough contacts to guarantee satisfaction, unfortunately I don’t have this, and the funds in their pockets for a second visit in one evening, which I have never had..

This is a REAL concern.   The less you know about her, the more exposed you are!!!  While I’ve never experienced violence, I’ve been ripped off more than once.  LE? Never a sniff in my 18 years in the hobby, I guess I been lucky!!!

Overall)  CL is two steps above finding a provider in the Yellow Pages, and one step above finding them in the classified ads of the newspaper.  Since it is free, it is a convenient tool for LE (most agencies don’t have the funds resources, or attention span to culture a convincing well-reviewed TER SP.  If you want adventure, go with CL.  If you want safety, and satisfaction, go with TER
