As a newbie, I'm understandably nervous about LE as I attempt to hobby for the first time.
I realize there's no way to completely eliminate all risk -- both client and provider are breaking the law, it's that simple.  However, if I do embark on this very intriguing pastime, I'm looking to reduce the risk as much as possible.

I know that I should do my homework before seeing a provider, and stick to only those who are well-reviewed, well-established.  Preferably, those reviews should be from TER users who have multiple reviews published themselves.  I'm staying the heck away from Backpage.  And I'm only considering providers who have some sort of web presence....hopefully, a professional looking website that will make me comfortable they're legit.

Here's where I could use the opinion of others....
I was thinking that I should opt for an independent provider, as opposed to an agency.  My theory was that LE (especially in NYC) is more likely to focus their attention on the big bust, as they enjoy media headlines and can nab numerous people at once.  An incall escort agency or AMP seemed more likely to attract attention and get busted than an individual girl working on her own (agency would have more client traffic in & out, more employees, more people who could encounter or be turned by LE, etc).   If I stick to a well-established lady, I suppose I'm not worried about her being LE...I'm more worried about being with the provider and there being a bust when I'm onsite.  I was thinking an independent was less likely to get busted.

I'd be interested in hearing if other people agree with this.  Do you think independent providers are less/more of a risk than agency?  Also, in your opinion, what is safer -- incall or outcall?

If there are high dollars, high traffic, drugs, or minors involved the risks are going to be higher that LE will show up.  So based on that which do you think is a higher risk between agency and indie?

In this instance when I speak of high dollars, I'm not talking about what one lady could charge per meeting.  I'm talking about groups of ladies.......when I mean high dollars here.

As far as your question is concerned, between an agency or an indie, I go with indies, have never used any agency.  But then, I don't live in NYC.  Big name agencies have been known to get busted on occasion, and so do indies.  I just think the risk of getting busted seeing a well-reviewed independent provider is a safer bet.

Incall or ouitcall?  I only do incall dates, but there is a reason I do it  A good rule of thumb is to not invite any provider into your home until you have seen her several times at her incall.  If she has a driver, that makes at least two perfect strangers that know where you live, and one who knows the interior layout of your house.

Common sense if you think about it. Indy is usually just the one girl involved. Agency...well, who knows how many people. And its not just LE risk either. If an agency goes down you have the risk of their john list being made public. Its happened recently in DC and Arizona and came very close to happening in Michigan from a Florida based agency a couple years ago.

Outcall is less risky because you have more control of the situation. Odds are just far less LE is going to the trouble to set up a single john by turning an Indy on him. Just too much cost for not enough upside for them.

Yeah, I would never do an outcall to my residence -- I'd only consider one at a hotel, preferably one that I arranged.   Thanks, Swim, for your advice!

I'm not so much concerned with where her ads are...  I start with TER & follow the links backward.  I vote for incall...  Once you are out her door...  there's nothing to link you.  Start out right...  use a separate Hobby Email & a Hobby Phone.

Yeah, and what worries me is that there have been some high-profile agency busts in NYC over the past year or so...I think that LE is targeting them.  Although most of the time, there are other charges involved, like drug trafficking, $ laundering, etc.  It just seems like they attract attention and I don't want to be there when the cops bust the door down.
I like the control factor of the outcall, as you mentioned....maybe my ideal scenario would be an indy who does outcall.  Although it seems like I haven't noticed many listings for providers who will do outcall the first time they meet with a client.  I'll have to keep looking.

Cops are gonna be looking for yield in their busts.  A single girl isn't gonna be as attractive of a bust as opposed to an agency, so as a very broad stroke I would tend to look at independents vs. agencies, especially if the indies are well-reviewed.

sounds more reasonable to me, although i did have her at our home when i did it for my husband, not a good idea huh???
