I am a newbie and haven't met anyone yet.

I am thinking of seeing a companion from an agency first. Many Independent providers want 2 references, but the problem is I haven't met any yet and have no references to give. What do you think? Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

The key to either is research. I see a lot of agency girls but I always look for reviews just as I would with an indie girl.  An agency that has girls with good reviews is a good choice. An agency that has pictures of a bunch of "10's" but with no reviews may be up to no good.

Nothing wrong with seeing an agency lady, but in my experience, indies are the way to go in the long run. Having seen an agency lady will likely not provide you with a reference that will be accepted by an indie. You need to either join date check, preferred 411 or etc, or find well reviewed ladies that do not require references, but will give references once they know you.

I started with agency ladies and I think it's a good way to start. Definitely do your research and don't be swayed by pretty pictures.

It's true that you can't build references using agency ladies, but you'll get experience which will be helpful in communicating with independents down the road. Posting reviews on TER can help. Like the guys above, I prefer independents as a rule,  but some of the finest providers in the business work for agencies because they don't like the hassle of screening and scheduling.

All good informtion.  In additon, there are some independents who will see guys with no reviews.  Just be willing to give her enough information to verify you.  Her safety comes first.
