Thank you Maddie for your warm welcome!

I am guilty as charge when it comes to lying about my age. I advertise that I am in my late 20's but once a friend of mine visits with me in person, it becomes obvious I am older due to my sophisticated vernacular.

Bottom line is this...do you REALLY look younger then what's appears on your drivers' license or birth certificate? If you really look like your in your late 30's, please don't advertise that your 25 years old.

I am not kidding. I am trying to help you avoid creating your own noose before you even get started playing in the hobbying arena.

Ok with that being said...As long as you take care of yourself, look great and give a gentleman he's money worth, you'll do just fine.

If you are considering joining our fine community for the wrong reasons, don't start a fire you can't put out.

What I mean is its ok to be a bit vague about your age but we live in modern times where word will get around if you are horrible or don't look the part.

Good luck and I wish you all the best :)

Funny:
I asked an old friend that is a former stripper/escort to review some of the wording of my site and the biggest thing that she said was the age.
We went on and on about me posting that I'm in my late thirties when she thinks I should say that I'm younger...
What do you all think.  I told her that I didnt feel comfortable doing that and she says that I am just cutting myself short... I dont think so,  what do the more mature ladies and gentlemen think?
Thanks in advance,
Maddie

Well I might not be the right person to answer, but here is my opinion. I believe that you giving your age is not much of a problem as long as you provide your picture. I mean if you are in your thirties and you look 25 or something then whats the problem? Now since we got that covered, your age should not be cutting your self short at all as long it is reasonable. I personally never look at the age. I only look at the age out of curiosity just to see what this beautiful ladies age might be. What are you going to gain from saying you are younger? The only thing I can think of right now is that the client might want someone more experienced or less experienced so age might matter in that aspect. However, age does not really prove your experience to an extent, because one might do 2 things in 1 day while the other does 1 thing a day.I hope you get what I am saying. =/

The overwhelming majority of providers in your age group generally understate their age by 8-10 years. Providers in the mid 30s range understate by 5-7 years and providers in their 20's do so by 5 years.

If late 30's is your real age put down 35 and you will be ok. If you are older than that, I would think twice before going lower than 35 unless you have really good pictures of yourself to show otherwise.

As a hobbyist it is rare that I find a provider honest about her age. I simply follow the above rules that I posted by adding X years to a providers stated age. If a provider grossly understates her age by say 15-20 years I would be annoyed to say the least when I saw her at the appointment.

Ultimately put down the age you are comfortable with and feel like. Personally I prefer a number like XX rather than generalities late 30's since we men are more visual and numbers oriented.

The level of service you provide and performance is far more important in the long run than your age.

I'm in my mid 50's, I usually prefer providers older than 30.  Doesn't matter after that. Like HappyTraveler stated many providers not all, fudge about age. My atf, who I adore, posts an age difference of 4 yrs younger, doesn't bother me at all.  What's funny is if you do a google search of the phone #, and many ads appear, you can see the different ages an escort uses in her ads. Bottom line, go with what you feel comfortable with and use the same age in all your ads. Good luck.

The providers attitude as evidenced by her text, her pictures, her postings and her reviews is what cuts it for me.

I'm an old ho and don't care who knows it. I'm 43 and will be 44 this weekend. There are plenty of gents out there that prefer old broads like me. If they want someone younger, there are plenty of them to choose from too.  I think I look damn good for almost 44! I bet I could even pass for 42!!!!!!!

Your friend is looking out for you.  Both of my favs are in their mid to late 30's but a lot of guys want younger ladies.  If you can pass for younger there is no harm in putting a younger age. I mean really, I consider a gal's real age to be her business and her business alone.

On the other hand, if you don't feel righ doing it then don't do it.  Just keep in mind that if you want to make yourself "younger" later on it will be difficult.

Thanks guys... and gal for the responses. I's really appreciated. I think I mentioned that Im redoing my website and want to get it right. Actually I want it to reflect me.

Happy Traveler, thanks for the detail. I'm going to say like I heard someone else say...I'd rather be told that I look good at 38 or 35 than to be talked about for looking like shit at 29 or 30.

I have about a week or two before the new pics go up (I see the photographer next week) so I will decide then... But I'm relatively certain that I wont go under 35. I'll just do the mid thirties where I can. LOL...
Meow, youre not an old ho. And happy belated birthday.

The age of the lady means nothing if the time that you have with her is great.   My ATF's website lists her at 31 yet I know she is really 32.  Physically she has a body better than most 16-18 year olds.  She could easily pass for someone in her early to mid 20's.  The time that I am able to spend with her is better than anything I've ever imagined.  If you do your research and pick the right woman carefully then age won't mean anything.  Many times it the younger ladies that don't live up to your expectations.  When you are young and beautiful guys tend to flock to you but it is the older more established ladies that perform great that has the clientele coming back time and time again over the years.

and being honest is the best. MILF's will ALWAYS be in fashion, trust me i know, i AM one!  isn't it better having a gentleman say to you  "YOUR IN YOUR THIRITES???" it's more of a compliment don't you think?
But the bottom line is ..when they go to your website and they like what they see, their not thinking of your age..

This answer. This one right here.

Hobbiests should be honest about their information. Providers should be also. If it was up to me (as if I know anything about this environment!) I'd prefer to leave ages off entirely. We men are visual creatures and if something appeals, why jade the impression with an arbitrary number? I've seen ladies a lot older than 40 that really cranked up my RPMs!

a bit older than their stated age.  If you could pass for 30 in both looks and actions, then I would list 30; that way we guys would know you are about 35 (+5 factor).

Thank you Maddie for your warm welcome!

Be proud of your age and don't hide it. Many guys are looking for mature women!   I am 43 and am told all the time that I look 35!   I love it when they tell me that I look good for my age!

I'm a mature woman who absolutly loves sex and and I love being the age I am and wouldn't change a thing about me!
Jay

Many of us hobbyists are middle-aged, and you're ten yrs. younger than I am.  This is actually a plus for many of us...it means we probably have things in common that we can talk about during the cuddle phase of the session, which is critical towards making the connection that turns your clients into repeat/regulars.  Don't sweat it...

I just started in this occupation one year ago at the ripe age of 52.  I was not sure how that would go over.  Well I am now 53 and I really need a secretary for answering and bookins.  I feel bleesed and proud to tell my guests that I am 53 years young.  Write good ads, have great pictures and an awesome attitude and I think the age thing is really a very small thing.  I find more gentlemen are getting more interested in mature ladies.  Hope this helps in your decision making.  Shamar

WOW Shamar you just blew me away.
Thanks everybody for the comments. It is inspiring that most (or all) of the ladies are more intuned to their true selves...

I'm doing just as my first mind told me to do and thanks for helping me come to decision.

The problem with lying about age is that many providers do it, and do it poorly. I have seen many providers say they are as much as 10 years younger, only posting pics from certain angles/distances to try to look that way.

In most cases men will decide whether or not to see you based on your pics and reviews, not on your age. If your pics show a pretty face and nice body, and your reviews are good, your age won't matter we will still call.

I am only 27 and have seen many late 30's and early 40's providers who are in great shape.

When we answer the age question in our reviews, we are being asked for a providers age as we see it. The last thing you want is for reviews to reflect you are not truthful about age.

Girl,

No worries! As long as your photos are accurate and you have good reviews. That's what matters. Accurate photos of a good looking woman is what counts.

I'm actually at a disadvantage, because I'm 27. Most gentlemen assume, I may be immature, and won't have anything in common with them, until they talk to me and see that I have a wealth of knowledge on different levels. They are pleasantly surprised to hear that I like the Beatles, can discuss history, art, literature and historical events. I even like old movies with Carey Grant, Joan Fontaine, William Powell, and of course, Humphrey Bogart, for example.

So in other words, age is really just a number. It's how you look and what you can bring to the table.

So rock it girl, rock your age and do it well!

How about just saying "I'm a lady in her 30ies" That honest and it lets the viewer decide.
