Are any providers amenable to

entertaining hobbyists with herpes?  I would think there are providers that may already have it, and with at least 20% of the population infected, so do many of the hobbyists who may or may not disclose it to their provider, or may not know.  At least by knowing the situation, actions can be taken such that only riskless activities (HJ, CBJ) can be engaged, and proper precautions taken.

You don't seriously think girls are waving their hands saying "sure pocketrockets let me suck your chancre  sore ridden cock"???  :-(

I can only guess that you're kidding, or  hopelessly delusional ???

At least post a warning next time. If I want to look at that I will contact the guy who started this thread and tell him to hook me up with whoever he got the herpes from and I will gaze at my own diesese ridden member after getting infected by getting with that nasty chick.

trying to hook up in the middle of an outbreak, besides there are meds now that suppress such occurances; haven't had one in years.  I got it from an S/O who had no physical signs then or since.  So beware out there, it's not always apparent.

Most people that have herpes are actually asymptomatic carriers. As you stated your own self that's how you got it.

OH MY GOODnEss..GroSS. I would just die if I saw that in person. I am having a hard time not throwing up!

There is a provider in Seattle who openly disclosed on boards and on her website that she was diagnosed with genital herpes.  She was in a unique position to see individuals who did as well.  That didn't go over very well.  Now there is simply no disclosure on her site and she is an active provider two years later (give or take.)

Do you really think the 20% (gents and ladies) who are carries are all aware and honest?  Sure, in an ideal world.  I'd love to live there some day.  Until we stop attacking people who come forward like this, we will NEVER see the full open disclosure needed to make healthy and informed decisions.

That is the honest truth so thank you too for being so candid about it. I as a provider would prefer to be told upfront. At least I am given a choice.

I'll be your huckleberry. That burning and itching is such a turn-on. You can check out my ad on CL and my reviews on BD. Come to momma...

Powerful is one word.

Those of us who are responsible don't have to worry about that stuff and I would rather not be grossed out by it.

Keeping up with LE, and you think with all the other risks we have to take for our safety, we would see a man with Herpes?  Was this a trick question or have you lost your mind? "AT LEAST KNOWING A SITUATION" were your words, are you insinuating that Hobbyists lie about STD's when they come see us?  and you know whats amazing about this post?? 1 or 2 Hobbyist jumped on his shit, I, a Provider posts about Hobbyists having the consideration to call us to cancel, and i get literally jumped on by some for saying that, God Forbid a Provider voices her opinion, rather have her sub-serviant, But this clown who happens to be a Hobbyist can post something like this and he gets NO flack at all..Double Standard is amazing. Very disappointed at the Hobbyists here, letting this clown insinuate that you guys lie to us about your health safety.

You're not going to have any providers willing to take the risk, including myself.

Sadly, there ARE careless and dishonest individuals...who doesn't take others health and livelyhood into consideration by being upfront and honest. On the other hand, some may be infected and the signs haven't appeared yet. That is why, we as providers, have to be pro-active in protecting ourselves against disease.

I have to commend you for being honest, however your chances of partaking in the hobby is slim to none.

In one of it's various forms. If you got chicken pox as a child that is also part of the herpes family of virus's. If one has herpes simplex 1 or oral herpes, over 80% of the popluation are already carriers for the disease.

It looks like your talking about herpes simplex 2 (HSV-2)or genital herpes, which you stated over 20% of the population are carriers of.

If you are taking valtrex or acyclovir to control outbreaks you can still pass on the virus to others through skin to skin contact. So if you have herpes simlex 2 and partaking in this hobby that would pose a major risk to others to infection.

please don't even think about it. it is so inconsiderate and irresponsible...

Even though this is my first post here  I just had to chime in on this.
I am seriously cosidering seeking a provider and am new to all of this. The idea of getting something like that photo is pretty gross.
I would hope that someone with a cold or flu would not want to "share", yet alone anything like that. Wish there was a magic test like DateCheck...we could call it STDCheck and have your doctor certify the person "clean".
No wonder alot of these girls are so pickey.

You are correct, knowing the situation and communicating about it is a much safer way to play than the way most assume there is nothing simply because nothing is said.  I would see you.  There are MANY ways to play that will mitigate if not neutralize the risk.

I'm sorry you got so harshly flamed here.

You are correct that HJ and CBJ are the most likely offerings by ladies to someone with such a condition.  I'd recommend looking into the FBSM realm where you are likely to get less judgement, where there is the less risk behavior to begin with, and please disclose to the lady so she can take any appropriate "extra" precautions that she feels necessary.

Sola

Now this I like. I think you are being very reasonable and responsible. How many guys or gals are this honest. This to me is the safest way to play. Know your opponent.

I am very new here so I won't be offensive in any way. I hope. For him to come forward is commendable. I have been reading post after post to find that providers say that they practice safe sex and so fourth. However for you to say you wouldn't take this call is like a double standard. Don't you guys wrap up to prevent the spread of std's but when someone has one and tells you you get offended and upset? Thats not only rediculous but cruel. Why all the fuss over wrappers then? This situation is exactly what they are for. No I'm not anxious to meet a guy with herpes or any other std but if he told me in advance that would allow for proper precautions. I know some of the providers and hobbyists have a venerial disease or a history of one however it is bad for business if they say so. This shows the lack of integrity that some may have while runnig their business but we won't talk about that here now will we....
