Really?? A woman needs 15 reviews to ensure she's not involved with LE??
I saw a woman with only one review (Violetta), and she was fantastic.
I guess I liked the thought that she hadn't seen many other guys yet. And I got a good vibe from her on the phone.
Isn't a phone conversation telling (at least somewhat) of whether a provider might be involved with LE?
Hey all,
Was interested in seeing a certain provider, but she's only got 1 review. It is however from this month, by someone who has reviewed many providers. Of course LE is my concern, so what do you guys think---go for it? Stay away?
to feel is well-reviewed. It's not carved in stone. A half dozen is enough if by experienced reviewers.
Your concern should not just be LE. There are many scams, which unscruplious providers (or claimed to be providers) inflict on the careless. Newbies should stay with well reviewed providers to avoid such difficulties. Some of us choose to stay will well-reviewed indefinately... others choose to take more risks.
At least if you have some "delivered as promised" experiences, you will know what to expect.

Well if makes any difference at all the one review that she has was done by someone who's written 63 other reviews dating back to June 06. Oh well, I guess I'll probably stay away for now. One last question, would LE go through the trouble of creating an ad on Eros and all that?
unlikely
Like others have said, check out who some of those 63 providers he reviewed are. If they all have a craigslist ad link, then you have a concern. If a lot of them are indies with websites and other reviews, I would have faith. It would be damn hard for a shill/cop/phoney to get away with that for 3 years without somebody figuring it out.
In fact, I've relied on a review by this very user. I've met IMALLIN, shared a meal or two and know his taste in women.
If a lady had only one review, but it was from him, I'd shake off the nerves and go in.
As Willy says, it takes a while to figure out who those reviewers are, but one review from a reliable reviewer is often worth more than 10+ reviews from one time reviewers.
I won't name names, but there are a few ladies that specialize in cultivating reviews more than providing good service. The reliable guys usually see through that.
and most likely she's already seen a dozen TER members who don't post & don't do reviews. If I were you I would contact the reviewer & ask questions that would put you at ease, then post on your local board for more info on the lady. Also ask on the local board for PMs from the guys that have met her.
I only have 2 reviews but I have met over a dozen TER gents & a few have asked if I wanted a review. I thanked them & said no review please. Why because of the same thing your scared of, LE. I would rather someone ask for PMs then a review.
I've been a provider since '05, and the whole review thing is still quite new to me. But I'm so glad I ran across this thread, cause I was wondering why I even though I am not considered a newbie provider, I am a newbie to participating on this site, I have not received a warmer welcome. Wow, at this rate it seems that a girl should give up!
is pretty respectable. 60+ is a lot of reviews.
To emphase a point above, yes you must read the other reviews to see if the event sounds like a good time.
I've seen ads that say "TER Reviewed" but NoOne who read the review would see them. I guess they figure guys are too lazy to actually read them.
I don't say to throw out the lady's number... just circle back when you've had a bit of experience. In fact, you'll probably enjoy it more.

Maybe if she is part of an agency, you can go with how many reviews the agency has. For example, I am very new so I don't have any reviews yet, but many of the girls I work with at my agency have a ton. So if I'm working with the same agency, I should be legit right? I guess I am just saying this because I would love for clients to want to see me even though I don't have any reviews, and that is just one way around it.
One review might be risky..but 7 by a reviewer who has been whitelisted by several providers is is plenty..
geezz 7 isnt enough for some of you? wowwwwwwwwww
7 is plenty. In many cases if you can pm the reviewers fewer may be necessary.
I'm sure someone here is smart enough to come up with "Reliability Index" numerical score that is a function of a lady's reviews, reviewers, THEIR review history, and reviewers' whitelist status.
I'm new here so it make take some time for me to cook up, but it should be a simple mathematical algorithm. Kind of like the way Google ranks pages.
Feel free to offer up parameters that I may be missing and I will add them to the mix. Also suggest appropriate coefficients (weights of importance).
Your friendly neighborhood genius,

The only way I would see a provider with 1 review is if she worked for an agency that I have used at least 3 times recently.
If you are a NEwbie, then I strongly reccomend going with someone with many reviews.
All good advice, but I would add that you can also check other services - visiting providers (or local if you are traveling) may use/have reviews on other boards depending on the region of the country. Also, verification services suchs as Date-Check can help both ways. And if you check the review/reviews and what is described is an experience you would enjoy, you don't have to take any risk in terms of requesting service - just place the envelope on the table and follow her lead (i.e. get comfortable means take your clothes off)..with a good provider nothing else ever need be said. Worst case is you'll get a mediocre massage.
