Thanks for the quick reply mrfisher.
I am thinking it's a "not available" issue. I have read up on the etiquette needed for first contact, and made sure I was following the "rules". The only thing I can think of with the first provider was she asked on her site "...tell me about the encounter you are looking for." To which I replied "Anything on your TER profile is OK with me." in the initial email. Would this have raised a red flag? How do you properly describe the encounter if they ask for specifics? Not saying I didn't mess it up. I just want to make sure I correct myself for the next contact.Hi, I'm a newbie with a question.
Trying to setup an appointment with my first provider while on a business trip. I have contacted a few with no response. Is it because I am new to the hobby? I have volunteered providing any verification info (employment info, IDs, etc.) that they need. Is this a red flag if I am willing to provide my info?
The first provider I emailed a little over a week prior to when I was going to be in town (traveling for work). I did not hear anything, so I called once I was in town giving some additional info since I think I didn't provide enough in the initial email. That was about 24 hours ago. So I sent another provider my info via her website form, stating I am new and can provide any info for verification that is needed. Should I have waited longer since I made the call to contact the second provider?
I realize providers have a life outside their business, and I shouldn't expect a call back or email immediately after I reach out. Am I being to anxious as a first timer?
Any help from veterans in the hobby is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

so either the gals you are contacting are not available for now, or you might have said something that was off-putting such as mention of a sexual activity, or other gaff.
I suggest reading up on how to properly contact a gal in the Self Help Manual that is linked on this page.
A few pointers other than the mention of sexual activities:
Suggest a time and day for your meeting. Do not make it vague. You can indicated a willingness for alternate times and days as well.
If you have no references, then give personal information such as work and home addresses and phone numbers. Do this only with gals who have many good reviews, which is the only kind of gal you ought to be contacting at this stage in your hobby career.
Consider joining a screening service such as P411 or Date Check.
Don't make your communication overly long. Be friendly but business-like

But I'd throw it out there to read her site closely (it sounds like you're the type of person you already have, but still.) Sometimes they describe "packages" with little names they think are more discreet than GFE, PSE, ETC. Or some do body rub only sessions for a different rate than FS sessions, which can be a different rate than "kink" sessions. She maybe just meant incall or outcall and for how long. Who knows? Again, she probably should word it better. You were smart to not start listing sex acts LoL.
As has been said, don't take it personally, find someone newbie friendly and well reviewed.
Good luck.
it can be difficult to meet well known and reputable ladies. Make sure you follow the instructions given.

Thanks for the info to you both TurbayVeronica and Fancy8888.
I agree with you Fancy8888, same as other professional businesses. If I were to call a HVAC company for a quote on a new water heater. If they didn't get back to me in a timely manner I would move on to the next business. Unless there are reviews that said they were REALLY good at their job, with lots of other satisfied customers. Just as an example.
I am based out of Las Vegas and respond within 24 hour time period...... Unless I am traveling to overseas.
OXOXO
Katie
Thanks for the reply KatieFlowers. It's good to hear from a professional.
Just to ask the question, since I saw your TER, P411, and personal website, on your P411 it says "Willing to See: All P411 Members - with references", but your website has the employment verification option, do you take newbies with just employment info or do you require P411?
Thanks again. Just a newbie asking questions. I appreciate all the info provided.
...because if not then I could see why you are not getting a reply.
Joining P411 has lots of advantages, one of which is the ability to more easily find newbie friendly providers.

Thanks for the info lopaw.
I thought I was pursuing newbie-friendly providers. They didn't say they required P411 and the second one said would "verify in a different manner" (I was assuming employment info).
Is there a way to verify newbie-friendly on TER, or only through P411? I didn't see anything specific on P411 that specifies newbie-friendly but I am not a member and there might be more options for members.
Thanks again. I appreciate all the info.
only a few days away, then you don't have much time to wait.
Personally, I prefer to schedule most encounters a few weeks ahead which gives me the chance to wait 3 or 4 days for a response if necessary. Other factors would include whether you are reaching out to them on a Friday with the weekend approaching. Same thing applies to reaching out just prior to a holiday.
If I'm try to set something up on short notice, then I will have a plan B and/or plan C ready if my first choice is not available to takes too long to reply.
Most ladies I know, myself included are generally going to reply in some form during that time frame. As you said, we do have lives outside of this that sometimes prevent that from happening but in my opinion it would be completely understandable for you to have found another provider if you didn't get a reply in that time frame.
It doesn't sound like you are saying anything that would raise a "red flag", so to echo some of the previous replies I would say check and double check that the ladies you're contacting are newbie friendly. Most of us who are will include that we are in our ads, on our websites, or both.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply Jess_CountryGirl. I appreciate all the info to help the us get out of the "newbie zone". I will definitely look for providers that state newbie friendly.
Other providers have other responsibilities so I would give it 24 hours
if you haven't received a message
try to read her website and add references and other information they require. Many popular providers may ignore incomplete messages.
