I realize these are boring questions, but I've tried to find the answers and can't. Drives me nuts when research becomes tedious, so here goes.

1. What do the star ratings mean or how can I find the explanation on TER? Do I need a star rating?
2. Why do some posts have a little icon that looks like a slightly skewed paper clip next to them?

I have an unsettling feeling, I've seen the answers before, but can't find 'em now. Thanks for any assistance!

...and you have enough reviews to get a reliable average. Look at the Top 100 list. You'll see the relationship between the stars & your ratings.

The skewed paper clip means there is a link to something within the post.

...P.S. I think you need 10 reviews (might be 5) to get an average and stars. You need 20 reviews to qualify for the Top 100 list.
