Rates Consistency While Touring

Have you tried checking the rates that gals in New Orleans are charging?

I have seen girls who charged less when they visited Boston so I don't think it's a big deal for you to do the same in other cities.  I would just suggest doing all you can to check-out the market in whatever city you are going to.

By the way. FWIW, I have paid less in Chicago and Dallas than I do in Boston, Miami, NYC, Philly or LA. I don't know if that means anything or not. I don't think it's hard to find a good time in whatever price range you are in as long as you set realistic expectations.

Hi everyone, I'm based in Boston and started as a provider in December. I've just booked some flights to New Orleans, Dallas and Chicago and plan to do some touring work on those trips. Here in Boston, I have the same rates on all advertising venues and like to keep it consistent. However, I'm wondering if it's a good idea, or bad idea, to offer slightly lower rates in certain cities. I think I can maintain my rates in Dallas and Chicago. But I think it might be tough to get bookings in New Orleans with my high rates, thoughts?

You need to look at hotel rates in the cities you'll be in. Then you need to check the donation rates ladies charge as well. I was just on a provider's site whose touring my hometown, and she listed the cities she's  touring, and there were different rates for different cities. I don't think it's that uncommon to have different rates.

I have not been to NO in a few years, but know that Dallas has much lower rates that Boston, and tons of talent so I would be cautious of that area (in terms of trying to keep your higher rates).  NYC, San Fran, and Chicago all have higher rates, so they may be better touring cities if your goal is to maintain your higher rates.

Thanks to those who responded, I try and pride myself on consistency but want to keep realistic expectations about cities that may have lower average incomes than Boston. I'm just excited to see new places and am making a point to visit cities I haven't seen yet. Hoping to hit Vancouver, Montreal, Seattle and San Fran down the road.
