So here is the scenario:
If I decide to do an have a SP outcall to a certain hotel, and I book it for that day but I can't stay overnight at the hotel (gotta stay home), do you guys usually go back early next day to check out OR do you check out right after that 1-2 hour session (which would be very obvious what you were doing)...

thanks, any comments welcomed!

Assuming that you do not need this, just leave the keys in the room and go.

No one at the hotel is going to go looking for you, if that's what is on your mind.

how can you just leave the keys ... because you pay when you check out?

and therefore there is no need to go back.

If you are paying by cash, most hotels require a deposit beyond the room cost for incidentals, and then you do have to go back to settle.

I suppose you could always tell the hotel that your plans have changed and must leave early because of family emergency, etc.

Don't try to pull that more than once at any hotel in a given year, however or they will suspect something fishy.

No, you settle the bill when you check out.  You paid when you checked in either ahead of time, with cash or with a credit card. Unless you need a receipt there is no reason why you can't leave when you are done with the room. I have been doing it for years...

nono, my perception is that if you don't check out then they will charge you an extra day for the room.  I always check out before I leave.

Why on earth would they do that? They will charge you for the number of nights that you reserved the room for and nothing more. Your perception is incorrect.

If it doesn't, then you should make an issue of it and insist that the date be listed.
