Hi--

I recently posted a message in the Los Angeles discussion board requesting info on a provider not listed in TER.

It never posted, and instead, I got a message from the board moderator saying the provider had been "delisted."

Does this mean we are forbidden to discuss, even amongst ourselves, providers with scarce or no info--if they are delisted?

Is there a list of "do's & don't's" for the discussion obards out there? Just want to make sure I'm staying within the boundaries of what everyone here deems acceptable.

Thank you!

As with anything there are guidelines that govern this board .. and a list of do's and don'ts ... as far as asking a question about a provider fire away...forbidden to discuss I don't think so ... if the provider has been delisted .. you will not find any info. on this board about her due to a number of reasons .. all that really means is that your task may be made more difficult and TER will not aid you in your search .. but that doesn't mean that "We" the loyal hobbiest of TER can't help you ... my .02 .. hobby safe hobby well hobby all you can be

I guess my dilemma is this: if my message gets deleted before it's posted, there's no way fellow TER members can assist me in finding info on the provider in question (which is what happened). So I'm trying to find out if posting messages or inquiring about delisted providers is off-limits.

Is there a FAQ on TER covering etiquette specifics on the discussion Boards?

If your on moderated status (where they have to approve your
post) your post is much less likely to slip through to the
board unnoticed.

Check out other non-TER boards for info.  Without any reviews,
you're not really going to get the specifics you need on the
boards anyway.
