I tried to post this earlier but it did not seem to post. I am new to the board and the hobby so I have a few questions. Is it better to use an agency provider or an independent? If a lady can be contacted only by email is that a LE trap? If you diguose your name on your email like I have seen discussed on the board won't that hinder the screening process? Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated. I love this board and am excited about entering the hobby.

are moderated.  Every new poster starts out moderated, which means that the board moderator has to review your post before it hits the board. Since the moderators are volunteer TER members, they are not on board full time and it can take up to 24 hours for your post to hit.

DC is right, if you are new to TER, you are moderated.  That means your posts have to be approved by the board's moderator.

Most people seem to prefer independents, but it's up to you to decided.  My concern with agencies is that they might keep information on me and they are often targeted by LE, so I don't feel comfortable with them.

Email is no more of a trap than a telephone call would be.  The main way to avoid LE is to stick with well reviewed providers.

Don't disguise who you are to the provider.  She will not be able to screen you and won't see you.  If you see a provider who does not screen, you are at risk of meeting LE.

Have you read the Newbie Manual at the top of this board yet?  If not, do so now.  It will answer a lot of your questions.

Mr. Fisher does have a point about the lists and whatnot but I would only fear this if you were a high profile individual. I am not aware of LE ever going after people on agency lists, though I might be wrong.

Really you only have to be concerned if your someone who the media might be interested in, that is where being on a list would do the most harm, most of us don't have to worry about that.

I have used an agency in all but one of my hobby adventures. One plus is if you find a good one you don't ever really have to worry about not getting the basics, even with new unreviewed girls. One minus of seeing a girl through an agency is the fact that they can be overworked sometimes, escpecially if they are a touring agency, and that can hurt the quality of your experiance.

I will say from personal experiance that seeing an independent girl as a first time hobbyist is extremely difficult due to lack of references. Well reviewed independent girls are probably better than agency girls I would say.

It might also depend on where your located. I am in Ohio and there are very few independents here that I have any interest in seeing, yeah I am a picky little shit..lol... So for me touring agencies with top talent are for me but if I lived in a different region (Vegas, Miami, etc) then it might be different.
