Question re: Not Approved Reasons

I received the message below as an explanation as to why my review was not approved:

"The website that was included in your review is not a direct link. TER requires that websites submitted in reviews link directly to a page that lists the provider's name and contact information."

I *think* the problem is that the providers' ad does not list a phone number or website. The ad was posted on BackPage. To contact the provider, one must first email via the Back Page system, and then establish phone contact.

Although I did list the providers' phone number, I am *assuming* that TER did not approve my review because the providers' ad does not list a phone number in the ad itself.

Does that sound right to you guys?

If that is right, then I won't waste time writing a review for a provider who doesn't list a phone number in their ad!

By the way, I am not asserting that I disagree with TER's policy in this regard. I can see why they might regard ads without phone numbers as being less reliable.

All the Best,

Many providers do not want to be contacted by phone.

What is a must, is that a provider must have a some type of web presence where by clicking on that link, her ad or personal website come up.

Just linking to a site where you must then click more links to find her is not enough.  Often, her page on a site will have its own address and that can be used, but not all mall sites work that way.

But unfortunately not all web presence are on TER's approved list. I wrote a review of a well reviewed (both in number of and rating) and had to try five different web sites before I found one that TER would accept. It does take some persistence sometimes to get a review posted.

TER does not want to promote sites it considers competitors.  Thus, if you try to link to an escort site that contains reviews and provider ads, likely it will not be accepted.

Yeah, I found that out with another review. It makes sense that TER wouldn't want to promote competitors' sites.

and find her ad on backpage, and copy the address exactly as it appears in the address line, it should create a direct link to her ad.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. So it must be the need to have her own website of some sort.

Thanks y'all. :)

You also might want to read the rules again for submitting a review, particluarly the section that covers phone numbers and websites.

What are you referring to specifically? I have read the rules several times and I don't see anything that hasn't already been mentioned.
