I am new to this and looking at a provider. Found someone special, but notice that this person had reviews monthly for an extended period of time then as of december 2009 - nothing.
The website on her TER profile also links to backpage ad that has a December, 2009 date.
Is this pretty much a sign that this person is no longer open for business? Or do I just try and call anyway?
Most clients do not know about TER or other review sites. Of those that do, not all review. So gaps in reviews mean nothing without further information.
If you have read the Newbie Manual & these boards... It's time to read her full reviews. If you are getting close, it's money well spent. (Just because there are reviews, does not tell you if they are good or bad or if she really provides the menu she advertizes.) Believe me the cost of VIP is far less than even one spoiled date.
You should probably have more than one prospect... remember this is pay4play, not "match.com" If you don't connect or the answers are not just right, switch to plan B or plan C...
While you are at it, it is suggested that newbies choose well reviewed providers. (Several reviews by experienced reviewers.) If everything is good, then try making contact. skb
and she may have arrived at or near a "carrying capacity" she likes. Her clients may have reviewed her along the way and not have submitted updated reviews.
That happens a lot. She keeps the ad out there but is very selective.
Add to that the fact that somewhere less than 1 in 100 "hobbyists" are members of a review board community
As always GTM has a great point, that reviewers only write one review. A re-review, does not gain VIP days & the previous review comes down. So repeat clients generally will not be reviewing. skb
