Question for Experienced Hobbyists

Would you considering seeing a provider with one review from an experienced hobbyist (has given many reviews)?  I likely won't take the plunge since I'm a newbie but, wanted to get a feel for what you grizzled veterans would do.

well-reviewed (6 or more) ladies who have reviews from established hobbyists over time.  The intent is to reduce the risk of a B & S, ROB, C & D, or "she just laid there" date.

The only exception I would make, in your shoes, would be if you know the reviewer personally and trust his judgment.  Otherwise, move on to a provider with more reviews.  There are plenty out there.

I might, depending on who the reviewer was.  For me, it goes beyond the number that he has and becomes who he is, what he likes, and if I know him.  Granted, you're a ways from that, but I know things about some of the guys that would make their choices more (or less) valuable to me.  So, the right guy's review could get my interest in a new lady.  That assumes that I was in the market of course.  ;)

I think if the review was written by mrfisher I'd take the chance.  To me, the guy is like the Yoda of the hobbyist community.

There aren't a ton of well reviewed providers in my area.  There was one I had been trying to see but, she was recently busted by LE.    She posted a strange add on BP concerning it.  The link to the add is attached if interested.

Let me start by saying that I respect him immensely, and have had a few conversations with him off the boards.  Still, I would personally not use his reviews as a guideline.  Simply put, our taste is different.  He's a trusted reviewer, and a genuinely good guy, but that doesn't make his favorites a great fit for me, and maybe not for you.

At this point, I'm just looking for a good reference to get my foot in the door.  Most of the well reviewed ladies in my area won't see you without a reference.  There are two I've tried to setup appointments with who refused me for not having a provider reference.

I'm also a newbie and am registered on p411, which many providers accept without references, so long as you provide additional info.  Also, p411 lists providers who specifically say they are newbie friendly.  I assume similar sites to the same thing.  So sign up; it'll make your life easier.

P411 or other outside verification services are a great way to get your foot in the door and get references. That's how I started and it was very easy, providing you're comfortable giving some personal info and a credit card to pay for the service.

RS2000, Date-Check or Preferred 411. See if any providers will accept any one of them as a reference in lieu of a provider reference.

These verification sites will usually use other means to verify you including but not limited to employment.

Thanks for the advice.  I just signed up for P411 so hopefully that'll work out.

The site said it would take 48 hours but, they've already verified me.  Doesn't look like a lot of providers in my area are registered there.

Are you sure? It would explain a lot! And using the force to move things around and levitate people in the bedroom would be pretty convenient. Oh, the possibilities...

First, you might try a lessor choice (not your personal first preference, but with good review history) to get some experience and a reference.

If she only has a few reviews and one is by somebody like Yoda, do this... When reading a ladies reviews, yo look for patterns of behavior with her (things you like, don't like, etc). If you have to rely on a single hobbyists review, check out many of his recent reviews/ladies to see what you can learn about his preferences.

You don't take a suggestion for a love story movie from your friend that only loves Michael Meyers slasher films.

I would say to postpone seeking an appointment with this provider.  Hold her information in your bucket list...  circle back later.

MEANWHILE, you see others & gain some experience & perspective...  she will likely get more reviews that you can compare to.
I take ANY first review with a grain of salt.  Too often it is suspect...  maybe done by a BF or Favorite guy.  Second, ladies gain skills & perspective in the hobby so either improve their quality...  or get out.  Providing is not everyone's cup of tea.

A well reviewed provider has a minimum of 6-12 reviews and at least some by experienced reviewers.
