i am new to this and i posted and ad and a guy called and i asked him if he had refrences or verification site codes, he said no, how does he get one. does LE do stuff like that? if i refer him to a site like date-check or p411, they cant use that against me can they? i guess im jus a tad parinoid since im new to the scene.

with a verification site, so to advise someone to do it should likewise not be a crime.

There is some concern if he makes it clear that the reason he wants to join such a site is to commit a crime, e.g. prostitution, so anyone who is that indiscreet should be hung up on as they could be LE.

That said, I've never heard of LE going that particular route.  They seem to always take the direct approach.

Remember the old saying:  Even if you are paranoid, there is still someone out to get you.

If you dont feel right about it, don't see him. P411 or other screening sites are available.
