Age is just a number! Agency's have their ups and downs..
I can only speak for myself here...if I was seeking a provider..I would go with a independent!

Too many of your questions don't have a very definable, canned answer.

I started seeing providers 2 years ago.  

Many providers do have age minimums, skip them and contact ones that don't.  Be upfront about your age and you should have no problems.

If you read websites, you will find that many providers will not see guys under 30-35.  However there are also many that will.  There are many young guys on here that have seen providers, but you should do some research.  Read reviews to find ladies that will see young guys.  IMHO, you will have better luck with an agency as opposed to indies.

Then be very respectful of any provider you contact by reading her site thoroughly and abiding by all her requests regarding how to make contact, etc.

Be sure that what ever you write is grammatical and reflects well upon you.

Interestingly enough, the answers to most of your questions is "depends!"   That's why the best advice many of us will give is to get a VIP membership and learn how to use the search features.  I'm never been any computer whiz and I've found that it's pretty user friendly.  Anyhow, knowledge is power and I've found the best way to get answers to your questions is to go find them out for yourself.

That said, the two big questions you seem to pose are your age and the eternal "independent/agency"  As others have noted, the answer is it really depends on the girl as to a minimum age.  I have known some who aren't into younger guys but my thought would be if they don't bring it up in their ads/postings and when you talk to them, I wouldn't worry about it.  It is important to remember that this is a business for these girls and I've found that if you're respectful and willing to pay their rate, they're good to go!

As to the other, I'm an independent seeker.   I tend to be a bit cost conscious (that sounds so much better than "cheap," right?")  and have found over the years that only on the rarest of occasions has the additional cost seemed worth it!  I have also been able to see almost all of my favorites on an independent basis.  Finally, and this is corroborated by the girls I've been involved with in the industry, there is more pressure on the agency girls to be much more time conscious than independents.  Like the agencies will call 5 or 10 minutes after the end of the allotted time to give the girls an "reminder" that it's time to leave!  

Bottom line, do some research, be careful, go with girls you're interested in that have multiple positive reviews and you'll have a great time!

I'm also twenty.. Someone I know showed me this site and I have never done something like escorts either. I'm just reading most of the threads here to get a feel for things.
