I just got an email from a client who wants to see me overnight.

I have seen him once before (a couple of months ago).

Problem is...I don't know how much to charge.

I live in NY and the bare minimum is $1,000. I know for a fact that some NYC providers charge a lot more than that.

How much should I charge?

One place to start would be checking the websites of other providers in your geographic area, and see what the competition charges.

What would you feel comfortable charging?

My overnight rate is just under 4 times my hourly rate.  It used to be a lot higher but I really enjoy doing overnights and lowered the price and now get lots more bookings.  I'm entirely happy with the fee I charge now and that's the most important thing.

I checked out most of the NY provider's sites her on TER.

Most charge between $1,500 and $4,000.

I would feel most comfortable charging $1,500 for an overnight appointment.

I highly prefer extended appointments.

I would charge $1,000 for an 8 hr overnight and $1,500 for 12 hr.

what do you think? It's difficult coming up with rates that everyone agrees with.

I think Carrie is basically on the right track.  Maybe a little more expensive here in the US versas London.  $1000 seems to be about the going rate in London for any number of absolutely beautiful women including Carrie.  However in the US the rates seem to range from generally $1200 (for 8-10 hours) to $2500-3000 depending on the girl.   Most independents are available for $1500-2000.  Multiple days are generally going to cost less if you can afford it.
