I am just starting out. I am trying to get some reviews. Besides posting an ad on TER that said I was looking for reviews, I do not really know what to do to get the attention of reputable reviewers. Any ideas?
Other than offering a review discount to established hobbyists, I don't know what to tell you. You can't FORCE guys to review you. Pay your dues, and the reviews will come.
As far as advertising sites. I use Eros, TER, and P411. For Chicago, RS2K. Your area is a TER dominated board, so you're in the right place. I hear many girls say that posting on Date-Check like every DAY, for NY really helps them get business, but I never used that ad forum over there.
on this site. If you do that, you could get booted off the site. You have pretty much done all you can. I would suggest you start posting on your regional board to get your name out there more.
They just don't flat out say it like that. They say something to the effect of, "IF you are an established TER member who posts reviews, you will get 50 dollars off your first visit."
I will warn you that some guys don't like reviews to be brought up during the session or even after the session. They feel like they are being pressured. Also telling the guys that they better give a certain score is a strict no-no..
I think London offered some great advice of offering some review discount initially till you get established.
that a new girl with a high price point is probably not attracting the kind of guys who diligently write reviews to get their free VIP days. I don't know that to be true, I'm just guessing.
Also, at that price level, I wonder if guys are not going to write a review on a session that was good, but not outstanding. please forgive me, I'm not trying to imply that you are not outstanding I'm just wondering if these are guys who would only write if the session were terrible, or were earth-rocking in some way.
Do you believe that any of the guys you have seen were totally blown away by your session, and then failed to write a review? If so, I can't imagine why they wouldn't write it (unless they are the kind of wingnuts who want to "keep you for themselves")...
The only ways I can think of to try to increase reviews are to mention it on your site, ask potential clients directly if they will write a review, and try to find out in your screening process if your potential client is a guy who does write reviews (if he writes them for other girls, why wouldn't he write them for you?)
Good luck. If I was still anywhere near NY, I'd write for you! Come down to Virginia and I'll take care of you! (No, I can't afford to fly you here, sorry
I emphasize the word "now" because only you can answer this question. If you have a hardship for money, I would say forget worrying about giving the discount to only TER members or reviewers. Post a $400/hour across the board rate, for everyone. If lots of new reviews is your biggest goal, you need to increase your appointments. Post your special rate everywhere. Something like:
****Hot, New Girl with Great Review...Only $400/Hr...For a Short Time Only***
Market the hell out of that till you get the number of reviews up. Yes, people are going to tell you it will be harder to go back to $600. But you can do that gradually. Once you have good/great reviews in NYC youll be able to get 500 and maybe 600 or more later, but Id worry about today...today. Not knowing your eonomic situation though its hard for any of us to give you the best advice. But if new and fast reviews is what you seek, generating a lot more appts is clearly the answer. You can do that by giving guys the impression of value. $400, with CS being your reviewer and a good review to boot, will appear to be a very good value to most.
I would never cut my rate by 200 bucks for everyone...no way in hell. If she is not getting "business" then she may have to, but those are the questions that need to be answered. She could offer a "prebooking" special, but not just cut the rate. Guys who wait to book with a provider until she runs a damn special, annoy the hell out of me, and I do on purpose to tell them I am booked lol.
