I gave a review of a provider a while ago, have seen her since and wanted to amend the profile and review.  If there is a way to do that, I'd appreciate knowing about it.  Thanks very much.

The new review will replace the original one. You won't get VIP days for the new review.  
You mentioned amending the profile too. A new review won't change the profile. You need to submit problem reports to do that.

the original review will remain on your profile list of reviews, it will just disappear from the provider's list.

and explain your reason for wanting to change the original review.  If they agree with you, they will change its status to "new" or "edit" and you can make the changes and re-submit.

Sounds like the OP wants to make major changes, his review was up long ago, and he's seen her again recently. In this case it is much better to just submit a new review. (and problem reports for the profile changes.)
