This could open up problems

If you could know for sure that the lady would not create some identity issues for you later on, then no problem from my standpoint.  Assuming you did your homework and she is well reviewed and extremely professional, you still have allowed her to know who you really are.  I would be careful on opening up my personal life to a lady I haven't met with before.

I did this and it was his own business,but his office upstairs almost looked like a home with all of the amenities.As long as she reviewed girl and is discreet I don't see the problem but I wouldn't make it an occurrence that happens regularly.Just my 2cents.

I have done that plenty of times.
In my option just like picking a lady for companionship she should basically be well-reviewed so you know that she will keep your identity well-kept or meet her in her location so you can get a vibe about her first.

Some ladies when verifying the gent expecially if he is a newbie may already know where he works lacking that we physically don't have to show up there to make sure.

Never done that but I'd treat it the same as having her to my home:  I wouldn't do it until I had known her and some trust had built up.  Certainly not the first or second time I met her.

I run a business too and I know the need for absolute discretion at a work place.

Just think about what she knows about you now......  However, it's a bit late to worry about that now.

Why open yourself up to any added risk?

Are there other employees working at your office in the daytime?  If so, one of them might return after work to pick up a briefcase he left behind.  He'll see you at the worst possible moment ... then with one click of a cameraphone, you're being blackmailed.

Make absolutely sure that nobody can enter the office while you're hobbying.  Also if there are security cameras, they can be used against you.  Aside from this you should be safe, though the mere fact that a woman regularly comes to your office after hours may be enough to arouse suspicion.  You might want to come up with a cover story to explain that.

Meet the provider at a hotel or apartment rental. The apartment rental is cheaper for frequent meetings with providers and gives you a place to get hobby related correspondence. I don't take the risks you take. I could end up destroying everything that I have worked for if I am found out.

Thanks for all the input....This just happened once so I think I will refrain from the office from know on. I have had other providers wanting an office number or web site for their verification, so I guess that exposes you to the same possible situation of them know more about you than you do about them

Been there done that but it was with ladies I was very familiar with and I was the only one with a key and I made sure I turned off the security cameras.
