Are there certain providers that specialize in couples (especially the female) or does everyone have the same practice?  Our first attempt ended up in a complete r/o.  Don't want a repeat.

There are providers that don't necessarily specialize but are much more comfortable with couples and enjoy the experience. There are also couples that provide together. To find either type of provider it is best to try asking on the appropriate page for the city nearest you. This way you can get an idea of who is available and then read their respective reviews before contacting them.
