providers: Do you want to know when you've been reviewed?

Just submitted a review for a provider and wanted to know:  Should I email her to let her know I've submitted a review

If it's of Yoko, I doubt she will care

Actually most providers don't really need a heads up about a review, but if it's a positive review I can't see any harm in dropping her a line saying something like "I really enjoyed our time together and I wrote you a positive review"  

BTW, Yoko is great, I saw her maybe ten years ago, and then again about a year ago. One thing you can say about Asian women is that they certainly hold their age well.

I know a few providers who hardly ever go on TER....

So, I put them on my favorites list and check that daily, and if they get a new review, I email them to let them know, which they appreciate

It would be great if TER sent a New Review alert.

That is, to providers who are members here.  

For now, though, I can usually tell I have a new review by the sudden uptick in 2am texts and dumbass emails.  ;-)

 
If you're going to tell her you wrote a review, it would also be a nice touch if you had told her prior to submitting it, in my opinion.  Of course, you are under no obligation to do so, I just think it's courteous.  :-)

Yep that is correct. "Favorite" yourself and you will get an email update every time your profile

Is updated.

I would have thought the queen of the newbie board would have known that. ;) ;)

I actually just favorited myself...

.... and got a pop-up window telling me I'd already done so.   But yet, I've never received an email alert telling me I had a new review.  Weird.  

Maybe I need to check my email settings.  Things have been known to go to the wrong folder lol.

i guess there is one other step. Go to account manager and check the box for

"Email favorites updates."
I believe that is default, but it would be easy to uncheck it accidentally or on purpose in the past, so make sure it's checked.  

Then I guess make sure in your email that TER mails aren't going into spam.

Go to Account Manager. Upper right by Sign Out and British flag...

...look down the left of the page and click e-mail favorites updates.

I don't have any reviews on TER yet, so it'd be nice to get a notification when one appears. (I'm going to favorite myself now!).
Honestly, I've been refreshing the review page for the last few days waiting for one to appear, haha

You need a profile to favorite, and you don't yet have a profile.

Curses. Oh well...as soon as I have reviews, and get my profile linked to my TER#, I will *then* favorite myself. Now to wait... patience isn't my biggest virtue.
