Provider stood me up.. :(

I am just wondering a couple of things..

Notes: This is the first visit I've ever set up.

I setup a time with a traveling provider that was in town this week who has rave reviews, etc.

We did the 2 call (txt) system in which I went to her hotel shortly before our appointment and tried contacting her again to get the room #. No response and after 30-45 mins of waiting, I left.

My question is this..

I'm a newbie, is it good or bad etiquette to leave a negative review when this occurs?  She has not responded to my queries, which were more "I hope everything is ok!" tone, not some "Fine Then!" tone

But you can post about it on your local board.  Also, it's best to post questions like this on the Newbie Board.  That's what it's for.

Yes, after creating the message I thought the same. Sorry for sticking it in the wrong area..

Previous poster is right, TER's review rules say that if no meeting actually took place between you and the provider, you can't post a review.  If you post it on your regular board, you might consider having guys PM you for the provider's handle.  This may help you avoid any backlash from her.

What happened to you is not good, but it does happen to hobbyists and providers all the time.  Time to move on.  There are plenty out there to choose from.

You don't really have any cred at this time, so best thing is to move on. Try seeing a well reviewed local provider. Remember touring providers are laying out a lot of $ while on tour, and while it's not professional behavior, you may have been bumped for a longer date. Just the way it is.  Everyone gets NCNS'd eventually, it's part of hobbying

I did move on as soon as I left the location...  Since I'm new to this, I just didn't know what the "norm" was post NCNS. It was obviously a little bit of a letdown as I had what i'm sure is the norm newbie "nerves" all day anticipating my first meetup.

Ahh well, hopefully next one will go! :
