I will be traveling soon on business and put in a search for providers in that area with my usual criteria. Maybe I am spoiled, living in L.A., because a search here results in pages of possibilities, with them being current reviews (less than 3 months old) for at least 3 pages.
My search in my destination city only came up with a handful current and reviews 6+ months old on the first page!
So I went to CV and looked about. I found a very cute lady that showed a link to TER reviews. Her most recent is over 2 years old! I shot her an email asking if she was still active. She quickly replied (Points for that) that she was still active. Well, "as active as (she) can be" and offered to call to chat. She mentioned that it had been a while since her last review and asked if, perhaps, I would do one on her if we met.

Does this lack of current reviews for a pretty major city seem right? I almost feel the need to screen her! If she is the real deal, great. But I want to do my research to be safe.

The regional discussion board for that city mainly contained posts from girls tha popped up on my search. (I guess visibility helps, ladies!)

Any thoughts, suggestions?

I once saw an escort who didn't have a review in 4 years. She got out of the business and moved away. And I just recently saw a lady who went 6 months without a review. She met a guy and retired. My point, there are many reasons for gaps in review history. However, I'm not sure her response to you "as active as can be" works for me. Without being a snoop, you might want her to clarify her answer. Good luck.

Have you tried to PM guys on her regional board to get an idea if anyone has seen her?

Yes, sometimes there are legitimate reasons why a gal will go UTR for a while.

I would ask a question on the appropriate local board with a link to her TER profile / reviews.

don't see as many clients. I see mostly regulars, who have already reviewed me. I do see new clients on ocassion but not often.

Same here I went posting back to back for months then built a good clientele. So pretty much i see the same regulars for months at a time. And also took a break from time to time.

this is more often the case.  I had to take 7 mos off for a surgery and that left quite a gap.  In general I see a lot of regulars and non-reviewers and can be very busy for a few months at a time with no new reviews.  I have a friend who works a few months when her ex has the kids and then doesn't work at all when the kids are with her. Not having a review in the past, say 6 mos, would merritt and inquiry to HER but I don't see the issue as long as she has a decent and profound history that is consistent.

we focus on more important things. I have a full time job and I'm a mom. I have a large family, and a very good support system for my daughter, but I got two promotions back to back in one year, and was working 10 hour days 6 days a week to 'prove myself' in my most recent position. I see my regulars during times like this, and rarely meet new friends.
Now that I'm salaried, the money or the time is not an issue all the time. I am now very open to travel and meeting new friends.

Ummmm what major city are we talking about that does not have recent reviews? That can't be right. share some more info what city you are talking about please.

I didn't so "None" just not many. Seems like a few have the majority of reviews.
As I said, compared to L.A., maybe a lot of cities are like this. They don't have all the "actresses waiting for their big break" to add to the assortment
