Background - I live in a provider-poor area (western Montana).

Looking for providers in this area, I found an interesting provider on P411 that is based in Calgary that makes trips into my area. Unfortunately, she has no TER profile (and therefore, no reviews). I do see she has reviews on other, (to me) lesser-known boards.

Looking for guidance on how to proceed.

Since there aren't many providers in your area, you might as well take a chance and go see her.

...in that I live in a rural area that doesn't get much provider visitation and I have yet to see ads for any "locals" that I would consider (no reviews and no way to vet them).

Aside from traveling to a larger population center to play, you might consider reaching out to the reviewers of the other sites. If you've established some sort of presence on the more local boards, this back-channel communication can be effective.

I've also attended a meet & greet in the larger city (4 1/2 hour one-way drive) that has a good provider base. Very productive in meeting some of the providers and established face-to-face communication with some of the guys I've chatted with on the local discussion boards.

Takes some time and effort, but it will pay off in the long run.

It is the biggest and in my opinion the best, but it is not used everywhere so sometimes you have to seek out info from other review sites. The key is to figure out if they are trustworthy sites. Not all are. There are some good Canadian sites and if you are looking at one of those, you are probably ok. (I can't mention their names here)

If I was in your situation I would probably go for it. Just be careful. Think with the big head. Do more research. Is she on P411? Does she have a website? Can other people vouch for her? Are the reviews you found trustworthy? Good luck.

A lot of times profe I bet Steph like you marketing her business on board on your topic.

If the lady is in an area where TER is not popular, it doesn't necessarily mean she's a no go.

Has she given some Okays on P411? If so you can check who she's given then to (I think) and see if those guys have okays from other ladies as well.

Does she have her own website as well as a profile on P411?  If so that's a *small* indication that she is making an an effort to establish herself. IMO passing P411's guidelines for membership is a good sign. If the reviews from the less known review site are positive and she is a member of P411, she's worth considering if you like what you see. Remember you are I "bumfu*k right now wit slim pickins, lol. But that doesn't mean you find a fun gal to play with.

And fingers crossed that you make it back to NC this summer!

Clients have no way of seeing who a provider gave okays to.
