It looked like a good idea so I became a member. What I liked about it was that they asked for your personal information, verified you, and then destroyed it (supposedly). Also, it is nice they are located in Canada far away from the U.S. gestapo.
Here's the rub - I have contacted several providers through them now and they have all asked for the same personal information all over again. Obviously they don't trust the service as far as verification goes so I'm having to conclude at this point it was a waste of money.
Okay, I can see your point when it comes to OKs versus no OKs but what is the difference between someone with no OKs and someone who isn't P411 at all? That's what I don't get.
Yep, I accept p411, Have meet great clients from there, I still screen just not as hard.
Screening is a personal safety choice. I refuse about 5 clients a day because they dont want me to screen them. Its there choice, so i dont mind.. But a safe provider always does her homework, just as you did picking her.
So next time the grip think about this :
You see a ad, beautiful girl, great body , great price . You hit her up for a a apt, She doesnt screen. You go over to meet her and everything goes ok. Here is what you missed in your short lived bliss : The provider has seen maybe 3 clients before you without screening the clients. One of which may have been a undercover LE, They are now case 'N the place. You ... just a normal guy looking for fun go in to her place just "looking for fun and half way through a lot of mean men in uniform are at the door.
OR - she is LE-doesn't care who calls because she is going to nail you any way.
End up in jail, need a lawyer, Face in the paper or some list on the net for solicitation.. AND you just got publicly screened anyway., .. All for a good time,,,where you wanted to stay discreet and anonymous.
ANY good provider will screen you. For your safety and hers.
Many providers promote them and recommend them which is fine. I signed up for three and gave all my private info, references etc.
When I tried to set appointments with providers who were members of these services with only my verification ID, I got turned down.
All providers still wanted my real name, phone, employment info and references. In addition they also wanted my handles to all review sites like TER that I am a member of and verification ID's of verification sites like P411.
I got the impression that providers wanted as much personal info on a client they could get their hands on and wanted to hoard it. I gave up after awhile.
I quit hobbying for close to a year and slowly transitioned to an anonymous hobbyist. I also had to quit seeing a couple favorite providers out of the handful that I had already seen when I first started and also stopped using providers I had previously seen as references.
Now I hobby using a false name and never give out any real personal info. It has worked well and I can sleep at night especially after all the issues in AZ and MN lately regarding the hobby. Unless I get busted in person by LE; a provider snooping on me, trying to blackmail me, or "my name" turning up on some list in an agency bust or LE sting will only send everyone on a wild goose chase.
I respect a provider's needs to protect herself and to remain discreet, but I place even greater importance on my safety and privacy needs. Hobbying anonymously is not foolproof, certain risks exist but I am prepared to deal with those at the time of occurrence.
I have been doing this for about eight years now and I have never joined one of those verification services. You don't really need to either...just give the provider/agency what they want. It's realy not as a big a deal as it seems.
Great. I just signed up with p411. I have already been screened and everything. I tried to set up an appointment the other night and got nowhere. One agency that has their girls listed on it, are not taking new clients, including p411 clients. WTF? And the other girls on it either will only see p411 basic plus members (meaning you have seen someone already and have their ok) or are not "newbie friendly" so I'm a bit pissed that I have already paid for this membership and I'm getting a bad feeling that it was a waste as well. Now what? How the hell do I get started then?
You make a good point. I should add that in my short time hobbying, it is best to find a well reviewed provider and give her your information. That way, she is comfortable with you and you will have a better experience. In fact, a good provider can simply have your real name and what you do for a living and utilize the internet and many other sources to find out everything about you. In reality, anyone can take your name and google it. If you give your real name to someone that is not a crime. If they say you were soliciting them that is a difficult thing to prove in this age of internet social networking. In this day and age you are always at risk. You just have to choose wisely with regards to who you share information with.
Don't look at it as money wasted. Screening methods and standards are individual to each lady. There is a huge range, befitting the huge range of ladies.
Instead of looking for an automatic pass for screening or some single silver bullet, look at it more as a portfolio of facts designed to make ladies comfortable with seeing you.
- Be a positive and thoughtful contributor to your local board - Make sure you do all your homework before contacting a lady - Come across politely in your contact e-mails, following the guidelines on the lady's website (non-vulgar, non-specific, etc.) - Offer up the info the lady requests - Be understanding and appreciative even if they say no, because maybe they'll say yes after you have a referral
Sooner or later, a lady will see you. It does take patience. Once you have seen one provider and been a gentleman, ask her if they'll be a reference for you. Go back to the initial steps and repeat, with the addition of the reference.
I'm not suggesting you be a suck-up or sycophant, but appropriately civil. Each success you have will build the likelihood of the next contact you make working for you. Eventually you'll have:
- Numerous potential references - TER whitelistings - Date-Check/P411 vouchings from ladies
Then when ladies go to screen you, they will have an array of information to look at, all making them feel comfortable that you are a safe guy to see. Which tidbits reassure which ladies is a mystery, so give them as many positive factors as you can.
Good luck. We've all been there, and gotten past it in time.
I wish people would stop giving/getting the impression that signing up with screening sites will open up every door from them. They won't. They probably won't even open up ONE door ... at first.
The benefit to P411/Date-Check/Roomservice2000 is later on, when you have a few Okays/vouches. Then you no longer have to give out your name/DOB/work number/reference info/etc. to every single provider you want to see. Not every provider accepts them in place of her own screening methods, but many do.
That's the benefit. It's not immediate, but (I think) well worth the patience and effort in the long run.
The bottom line was that P411 advertised using the marketing pitch that they will verify you and then destroy all your personal information and that will be that. I know for a fact they did follow through, calling my place of employment and even transferring to me for a personal conversation. No problem. That was the point, or so I thought.
But then I contacted a provider through their website and the first thing she does is ask for the same personal information all over again. I wanted to see her very bad (in fact, she is the reason I'm doing this) so I give her what she wants. I think about it later. She has my REAL name and the city I live in. It's not a big city so she can easily identify me. If she wants to she can ruin my life.
And yet I have NO CLUE who she REALLY is. SERIOUSLY. She lives in my area and has good reviews but I don't know her from Adam or Eve. She has the power to ruin my life but I know absolutely NOTHING tangible about her.
