Okay, from what I have observed, preferred 411 is the way to go. The thing is, I'm currently self-employed. I can totally afford the hobby, but is that going to give me any problems with getting a preferred 411 account? Any and all advice would be very helpful. Thank you all!

Explain in the comment section of your application.

I would recommend either call their toll free line and talk to them first or use the live chat feature first before you send your application. That way you won't lose your $129 you will get charged even if your application is denied.

I was in the same situation. It helps if you have providers that will vouch for you, but if not just call and talk to Gina. She is very heplful and has ways of checking you out if your willing to work with her and give her the info she needs. Very discrete, you will never even know she checked you out. Good luck and have fun!

I too am self employed.  Just call in and give them the info they need to verify your business.  If you have a business web site, or any other online presence that connects it to you, that makes it easy.  It does help if you have a couple of references, but still should be no problem.

Can you let me know how I should sign up as a provider?

Go the their site and click on the link for "Access Provider Options" on the main page.  From there click on "Become a member", read the guidelines and click on Create an account.  However, you must meet the following requirements...

[A Preferred411 provider account is free to legitimate providers who have good reviews posted by established reviewers.  An established reviewer is someone who has posted at least 5 reviews of ladies other than you, prior to reviewing you.  If you do not have reviews posted as described, we may accept a reference from a P411 client member with at least 5 Okays, with whom you have had a session.  A reference from another provider would only be accepted in very limited circumstances.]

So you have to be fairly well established first.

The problem is that im self employed. I work from my home office.  Im not licensed or regulated by any state or federal agency.

Lori: you might want to visit with a few newbie friendly providers to be able to use for references

Lori: no business license, dba, llc, articlies of incorp, sole propriater ship?
none
Lori: no current brokerage license?
none

Lori: you might want to visit a few providers to use for their reference
Lori: they would need to be established with good reviews

P411 has verified many guys who are self employed, retired, students, etc. (outside of "normal" employment.) However in your case they are unable to do it because you really are offering them nothing to check on.

You have three recent reviews. Two of them have multiple reviews. You obviously met them without worrying about being verified. You should be able to use them as references to meet others. If you are able to eventually see two p411 ladies, then you can get on the site with their verification and no work references.

Thanks. Just working my way up the ladder. I really want to move from backpage but I know there is a natural progression order.  My job is unique for sure.  My CPA has said out of all their clients they don't have a single person who does what I do for a living

Im fairly new here too and this board has been so great to get started. i followed the advise here and contacted P411 . I'm self employed and semi retired. I  Contacted P411 and gave them my brokerage account info ( account # covered), electric bills on my two houses, copy of driver license ( birth date covered) and was approved . This was about 6 weeks ago. They approved me and I've seen about 8 providers since ( still need to write many reviews on this site ) . All I can say is everyone here has been so very helpful in post here and PM and I'm having the time of my life!

Thanks I'm going to call them and see what i can do.
