So... I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to attach a picture to my ads on TER (and I was born in 91). The form asks for a picture *link*, and I just don't know how to approach anything that doesn't have an "upload" button.  

Do I need to have a picture on a website to do this? Is it not possible to just post a pic from my phone/laptop?

Here's a link to a previous thread on the subject.

You need to put the pic on a hosting site, like flicker, etc, then copy/paste the bb url into the link box.  I was born a bit before '91, so take this with a little skepticism  

Your image file must be of an acceptable type (gif, jpg, png ...). PDF will not work.
Your image file must be on an accessible server / web site. Unless you're a pro, your computer or phone will not work as the image hosting site.
You upload your image file to an image hosting site (imagecoast, etc).

You enter the URL for your image on the hosting site (e.g., "www.hostsite.com/myaccount/mypublicpics/bluebikini1.png") into the TER picture URL box.

When we look at your post, we get the basic stuff from TER (frames, headers, your text) but TER requests the image from your hostsite to be sent to my computer browser. TER doesn't host or store images: they take up too much disk space.

I paste that link in the picture URL box and you should see a reddish-blonde

Sorry, not a fan of Imagecoast - you have to pay to not have their tacky (IMO) watermark on your pics. Its not much but you have to get a CC to put on it (I think they accept visa gift cards though).

MORE importantly though, my Imagecoast links were broken on some servers when i tried to post my pics on here.  

Use postimage.org. They're adult-friendly too

I think some image hosting sites also offer different speed levels:

Free: slowest downloads (viewers will sometimes get timeout errors)
Paid: faster downloads (fewer timeout errors)
Pay even more: even faster downloads
