I tend to prefer indys over agencies (although I have seen ladies both ways).  In terms of a website, while I think a personalized website is a nice touch and can provide more useful information than an Eros page, an Eros page is more than satisfactory.  The quality of the reviews (particularly what is written in text) is far more important to me as I decide whether or not to see a lady than whether she has a personalized website or a page on Eros (or a similar site).  Just my .02

A website is a very helpful tool in my decision making process especially if a lady does not have a lot of reviews yet.  Eros is full of fake pictures and fake women. If I see an Eros or Cityvibe ad the first thing I try to do is find TER reviews on the lady.  If I can't then the next thing I look for is a link to her website.  In the absence of reviews or a personal website I am most likely going to pass on that lady.

Now that you figured out the working part of the business, you can learn about the marketing/booking side. Be careful on screening.

I like a woman to have her own webpage (free one). It hopefully tells a lot more about the woman than an Eros ad.

To that end, a well written and put together website is a big asset, but I could learn as much or more by seeing the person post on the discussion boards here and elsewhere.

My personal opinion is independent.
I prefer a website to EROS. I feel that a well done website gives me a better feeling of compatibility. Of course this is after I have read the providers reviews. If a lady doesn't have reviews, I move on and continue searching.

Have had good experiences both ways, but I prefer being with the boss, so to speak.

I definitely prefer independents.  I find it easier to set up the date, there is usually some communication prior to the appointment(either phone or email).  I"ve found it frustrating at times with agencies in terms of the communication prior to appointments.
