I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. I started doing this meeting new friends in January and took a break in February because I am so paranoid of getting caught and hooking up with the wrong friends for company (being robbed). I joined TER to not only advertise myself, but to also learn the business and go about it the safe way.
Can someone please help me! I have a great personality and the handful of friends i met really liked my company, but are not real hobbyist.
Screaming for direction right now!
Where are you located (general area)?
Do you have a website you can link me to?
Can you read PMs here? If so, I will send you my email address and we can chat through email.
I've been around here for 10+ years, and am a "real hobbyist" ![]()
What is "PM" and how do I access that. I'm still learning how to navigate my way around this site. I would like info on how to get a website.

start by reading the link below, it's the self help center. Next read back as many pages of the newbie board as you can. You're not the first newb provider that's come here for help.
Also, believe it or not, google is your friend. Phrases like "how to be an escort" or "escort blogs" will result in more interesting reading.
Always remember your safety is #1, not the $. For most providers and hobbyists that little voice we all listen to, can steer you away from trouble, don't ignore it.
Thank you SSSSSOOOO much. I will take your advice.
You should start by reading the Self Help Manual. The link is located on the upper right of this board near the life preserver. It contains lots of basic info for both hobbiests and providers. Next scan back through at least the last several pages of threads on this board, where many great questions have been asked and answered about things that you need to know, like posting ads, and screening (which seems to be a challenge for many newbies, and is critical to your safety concerns), posting on your local boards, linking reviews to your profile, to setting up a web site. That should give you a good start, but if you have specific questions that haven't been answered or that you can't find, post them here. Someone is always glad to help.
Also, always helps to indicate where you are from when introducing yourself. Best of luck!
where are you jordan
The Delaware/Maryland area
in both the self-help manual and several pages here on the newbie board.
Your safety comes first. Once you establish your screening policy, stick to it. A local provider can be helpful in this area.
Lastly, set your boundaries. If you don't want to do "x", don't listen to some a-hole who might tell you "all the other providers do "x" with him and his buddies. Guys can be known to be BS artists.
Good luck to you.
Thanks so much for the advice. I know they will try to take advantage, but I will only do what I am comfortable with.
Hi Jordan;
You're already exhibiting some good sense in coming here and asking for help! That should continue to serve you well in this endeavor. You've received some excellent advice in the replies, please take it with the good intentions it was offered. Good luck to you as you move forward!
Regards.....RR
Just wanted to say that you are off to a fabulous start already, asking for direction. Good for you!
Of course others have already said so, but screen tighly please. Learn from the ladies here how to keep the idiots out and let the good guys through, never any guarantees but you can increase your odds substantially just by listening and not making exceptions.
Good luck babe, feel free to PM for any "guy perspective" with specific questions.
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
We thank you for your purchase!
Membership should be activated shortly. You'll receive notification!
