You don't own the photos? The original photographer owns the photos and, by contract, has legal control over their use? That has come up before. E.g., a photog had no problem taking risque and glamour photos for a client and allowed their use for modeling-type purposes but HE WOULD NOT ALLOW THE  USE OF HIS PHOTOS for P4P. The client could not use those photos for advertising certain services or she could be sued. The resolution was to write off that shoot, find a new photog, and only sign a contract that gave her ownership / control of the photos.

Do you own the photos (and have the files, like photo1.jpg or photo2.png or photo3.gif and so on)? There are many computer programs that let you open a file, e.g., photo1.jpg, and "Save As ..." in a different format, e.g., photo1.png.
