What is the deal with these providers that place an ad, and you call them, and they don't call back. Or, if their mailbox isn't full, and you do leave a message, most still don't call back. What is the deal with this. They placed an ad. They are still in the customer satisfaction business, am I wrong. Can some kind soul clue me into whats the reason for their practices? I will admit, Im new to this stuff.

Sometimes a lady is so busy with her schedule or what have you…

Contacting everyone who inquires to her isn’t always possible…

You said you left messages? Are you being discreet with your messages? Maybe you’re not practicing proper phone etiquette? Who knows?

Do you belong to any verification services? I noticed you don’t have any reviews on TER. If your answer is no to both of these, this could be your problem.

There are plenty of fine ladies out there. Plain and simple, don’t sweat it and move on.

There could be several reasons!

If the mailbox is NOT full, are you leaving the best time to return your call? Many hobbyists have s/o's and therefore we don't just feel comfortable randomly returning calls. We have no way of knowing if you are using a hobby phone or not.

Also, did you state the day and time you are looking for an appointment? We might figure the time frame that you are looking for an appointment is long over as many people that call are looking for an appointment within an hour or so.

If you didn't leave a message or the mailbox is full, are you thinking that we call back based on "missed calls" in our phone list? (I know I don't ever call back missed calls and there are many, many that get missed).

Did you leave a message that was speaking about specifics of the appointment or was disrespectful?

These are just a few of the reasons. If they have a different method of contact, have you tried that?

I prefer all contact comes through e-mail until confirming the appointment. For convenience, (smartphones), clarity (no misunderstandings), and timeliness of overall general communication. On some ads, I do have to list a phone number HOWEVER I typically state all appointments are to be made through e-mail. Also, often times I am travelling and it is much easier to read and an email and respond than to answer the phone and hope to remember the details.

Just a few reasons - I'm sure there are many many more :)

Good Luck!

Have fun and play safe!

you might try the FAQ for Newbies board. It's below the GD board on the drop down window. There' you'll find the self help center in the upper right corner, near the life preserver. If you haven't read it, you should. BTW, Summer post was right on the money.

If she's a very popular girl who is still in the business, she might have too many inquiries / most likely her schedule is full already.   If its a popular girl and not in the business, well she's not in the business and won't respond cuz she moved on.

If it's a not-so-popular girl (or under the radar) and she's not answering, it's cuz you stink and smell like ass and need to brush your teeth. LOL Seriously, if you know for sure that you haven't done anything wrong to anyone of her friends or acquaintances and you're not on some black list, most likely she's just taking a break, on vacation, only seeing existing clients, or otheriwse busy with other shit.... or was hit by a car and in some hospital somewhere.

Either that or your email went into their spam folder and you need to change your email address.

I am Email Only lady but when I used to have my number on my ads many gents did not leave a message.
If you are leaving messages are you specifying that is okay to call you back no matter what time she checks her messages? If you do not specify that is okay to call you back most providers will not return your call especially if it is hours later from when you left her a message. Also,if she is busy with an appointment of course she is not going to pick-up the phone.Keep in mind some sites that providers advertise on their ads can be auto-bumped which means that automatically at a certain time of day ads are automatically re-posted.Doesn't necessarily mean the provider is available at the point of time of the ad being reposted she just wants her advertisements on the top of the page.

Also, are you saying anything that is inappropriate in your messages? Not saying you are but that could be another reason for not receiving a call back. Then there could be another reason maybe the ladies you are picking the customer service aspect or returning calls might not be their strong suit.
It could be any of the reasons I described above or maybe none of them who knows.Maybe try to call back later or on another day. Also,if a lady has an email posted in her ads as well as phone# try the email option and see if you get a response that way.
Good luck to you!

email as a means for contact.  A lady can answer her email when she has the time and you can read her response when it is convenient for you.

When using the phone, it often leads to phone tag.  PLUS what the ladies above have stated; namely was your VM detailed as to date/time of date, length of date, when to call back, etc.  Also, some ladies are much better with the business part of this business.

I have called people in the real world and have found "mailbox full".  Also, I have sent emails to people in the real world and not received a reply.  Again, some are better with details than others.

I never call back unless i JUST got the call.  In the past I have called someone back a couple of hours later and almost got him in trouble.  I definitely don't want to do that.  I always put in my ads that the best way to reach me is e-mail(I am not always around my phone waiting for calls).

There are a myriad of possibilities why she has not returned your call as has been stated in the various answers.  If she has an email address, I suggest using it.  As mentioned, she can answer that when she has the time.  If you do not hear from her within a few days, it's probably a good idea to move on.  If you continuously try calling her or send her too many emails, she may just ignore you as a pest.  You will likely never know why she has not responded to you, but does it really matter why?

I think the biggest reason providers do not return calls is the caller not letting her know when it's ok to call.  I have read way too many horror stories of calls being returned at the wrong time, and the hobbyist got in hot water with his SO.  Providers do not want to get involved in stuff like that, bad for business.

Move on, if necessary, there are plenty out there to choose from.

While our ads may say we are available 7 days a week, this does not mean that we are at home, sitting in a teddy waiting for the phone to ring.  We may have held an appointment, then went to lunch and finally  decided to run our errands or visit  a friend or family member.  By the time we are able to retrieve voicemail its now after five.  Not knowing if you are married or living with someone, we do not want to call you in the evening when you may be at home having dinner with the family.  Perhaps you did not say in your message that calling back in the evening is okay.    Or perhaps the provider has a sick child at home or has come down with the flu and is in bed.   If you are calling last minute for an appointment that day, she may be booked and reluctant to call back the following day not knowing if its okay to do so.  Who knows, you may have called on a day you are off of work.   Try calling back later, and if you do not hear back, move on.  Also be more specific in your message about when the provider may contact you.
