Just looking for some help on this topic.  I have a provider who I have seen before that is willing to come visit me when I am in another town.  I am going to take care of her travel expenses, but does it seem cheap to use frequent flier points to pay for her travel?

I'm sure she could care less how you purchased her travel as long as it fits in with what you agreed upon. Is she willing to give you her real name to book the travel arrangements (and vice versa)? If not, you can either use GreenDot or other similar prepaid card to front her the money, or if she really trusts you, you can simply reimburse her when you meet up.

That was just my only concern.  I know she would have to give me her name, but I don't think there is any way to leave my real name out of it.  I also don't want to end up with a huge hotel bill because a bunch of PPV movies and room service were charged to the room.  She seems like a trustworthy lady, I just don't want to come home from a trip to all my stuff on the lawn.......

All depends on you as long as she gets there, but me personally I do not care for buddy passes it wastes lots of time in the airport.  Flyer miles are usually fine after they are transferred & utilzed by the provider.

If you are paying for her hotel room just prepay it when you book then she can give her ID and credit card when checking in. This way you won't be stuck with the incidentals.

I do a lot of direct meetings. Everytime I provide my name to the client for arrangement a ticket. Coz this is as a confirmation of serious booking. I donn't  require any money deposit. Sure I want to see a reservation of hotel room. No one has a problem with this.
