The cell phone issue could be a problem for you. Personally, I like to call before I leave my home to reconfirm. I have posted on my website my reasons and rationality for personal verification. Check it out.
I don't know who told the other poster that they use information for 'leverage' but that makes me mad because it's simply not true for most providers. I can't imagine saying that or thinking that.
First of all, I fully understand that the personal information they ask for in the screening process is for their own security and protection. So I am not complaining that they ask for it.
However, I am concerned about giving things like my full name, cell phone, place of business, work phone, etc., even to an agency and girl with great reviews. I have a couple of reasons for this concern:
1) What if LE busts them, and then my name is in the records that they take?
2) What if there is some disagreement over the fee/services when I arrive, and I decide to back out? What if they are pissed about me taking up their time and try to harrass me?
3) How much can you really trust them to not use that information?
Over the past couple of years, these concerns are what have kept me from trying out an escort.
The less information you give the more limited your selection will be. After you meet a few providers you can use them to give you a reference. Your home situation will also play a part in what you can do (does your wife see your credit card bill?).
You will have some LE risk no mater what. If you don't want them (LE) to be able to get your personal information from her directly (because of bust) you can use an internet verification site like date-check.com or rs2000.com (both require work phone call varification)
If you don't want to give your cell#, you are really going to make it hard for yourself. Most women want you to call from a specific place at a specific time, and they don't take calls from blocked numbers.
If you read the reviews, you should have no problem finding someone you can trust with your info. They understand it is a business and treat it that way.
& other intrusive info like DL # or name as it appears on DL. This is a deal killer for me but seldom a date killer. A provider told me recently she uses this for "leverage." Huh?

I arrived at her hotel and a real ugly duck answered the door, and I said no thanks and walk away. Since I was pre qaulified and wanted to ask for me at work, she called my business after I walked away, posed as a florist and and claimed the devlivery ticket was lost, and my secratary gave away AlL the info, my fiance name , address info. The Ugly duckling then called me on my cell, by that time I was 5 or so miles away and said if I didnt bring her 500.00 within 5 minutes she would call _ _ _ Girlfriends name, who lived at _ _ _ _ and let her know what I had just did. She was a pro at scaming so do not give out that info. Here is a safe trick for us... If you dont like what you see, be cool and act like you left you money clip in the car, and say you will be right back, and then once in the lobby call her and let the her know the manager has asked you not to come back becaus of all the traffic, coming to her room. End of store
Provider hates to see anyone taken, thinks: Go independant...offer a very small cancellation if you back out. Really no different than cancellling a flight or hotel reservation. Trust is the same wherever you go. Just last night, by the 10th (serious) question, I told someone, "you're asking enough questions to make me uncomfortable enough to suggest you try someone else."...especially at 1am!! Unless I'm coming to your place of business, I don't need that info-BIG BEWARE of that!! But I have been asked, in lobbies of hotels, late at night, for a first and last name...so that's a must have!!
